this team goes out. if we are going to rotate then lets totally rotate - no point playing lloris or anyone else who will be in the next prem team....

personally i think it should be full strength. no replays so lets just do the business on the night. we wont be doing anything of note in the league so the cups is where our priorities should now lie. especially the EL

I think Jose will go with a strong line up. He is under pressure to get results and get us out of the slide we are in.

With this in mind, and sorry to continue to retain my negative outlook, the following will probably happen tonight.

1. Everton will definitely raise their game. Teams playing Spurs always do.
2. Kane will disappear and have no influence on the game He usually does in big games.
3. Son will have his clown boots on.
4. The back 4 will have a mare and gift at least 1/2
goals through errors.
5. Spurs will concede a goal just before halftime.
6. Aurier will concede a penalty.
7. Virtually every pass from MF will go backwards.
8. The back 4 will try to win the "most passes across the back 4" cup.
9. If we do somehow go in front, the whole team will go into defensive mode, move back 20 yards and completely hand the momentum to Everton.

Like I say, I take no pleasure in these observations, but have seen the same things game after game.

Tough game tonight. I want us to win but we're not going to be able to manage four competitions and succeed at them, and I'd prefer us to focus on Europa and the league if we are prioritising, so play a rotated team and hope for the best.

Completely disagree, Kane is a big game player and has scored in a lot of big matches. I think he has the record for most goals scored in the North London derby for example.

Really annoying that we have to wait till 8.15 to watch this, suppose the TV people set this, be difficult to stay awake

Kane absolutely thrives on big games imo

City got there game over early, subs on and players rested for the weekend

I think we`ll go out of the cup tonight, this is Evertons only chance of a trophy and they will be bang up for it, they won`t have to rotate many first team players either.

Anyone got a good link for this game? Although I didn't watch against West Brom and we won for the first time in forever, so maybe I should just continue that
