Would 10 points be a good return ?
Good article RFB👍, and an excellent question Doha, 10 points from the next 6 games would be an excellent return, but more importantly is to not drop points against the likes of Derby and Rotherham, I expected to include Luton in that comment but at the moment they aren’t in the equation. As with most games recently I have no idea how we will fare. Bournemouth on Saturday will I am sure be a tough test, however, I think they are beatable, keep Wiltshire quiet in midfield and we can stifle their creativity. We’ve had a couple of moral boosting results recently and we can hopefully keep that going. We are gradually starting to look more like a team and less like eleven strangers, obviously getting some players back and some good business in January has helped, it would be great to see if either Grabban or Taylor could link with Murray but I’m not sure CH has enough room to manoeuvre with that experiment atm. We have an abundance of midfield players but the full backs are still a cause for concern. If we carry on gelling as a team we’ll survive quite comfortably, and 10 points from the next 18 would put us in a great position. As the old adage goes, one game at a time, let’s start with a solid performance and at least one point on Saturday.

It's a crunching run of games all the way up until the International Break. There are so many unknown factors in play here, injuries, squad size, form fitness and the pandemic, it's impossible to predict imo. The bottom three will have shaken itself out by the end of March is all I'm going to say.

10 points would be an amazing return.
I'd be OK with six from six to be honest. A point a game from now until the end of the season (18 pts from 18 games) would leave us with 50 points which I think would be enough to stay up.
so anything above 6 is a bonus...
Even more important than the number of points is who we get them off, 5 from the bottom 3 matches would suffice. The last 3 games are far more crucial than the first 3 imo.

It helps but it's a bit more complicated than that. Just get more points than the teams below us.
Yep that works as well Red.
The quicker we get to 50 points the better, don't care who we get the points from or when so long as we can go into the last few games safe
I think Bournemouth could be there for the taking. Can’t believe they appointed Johnathon Woodgate. They have since lost 4 on the bounce and last weekends win wasn’t all that impressive against a lacklustre Birmingham City. Best to play them now before Harry Rednapp joins him as assistant.
They were on a disastrous run before they changed their manager so they may have bottomed out. They still look like a play off team at least.
We were poor when we played them earlier in the season but are much stronger now. If we are at it for 90 minutes we could get something out the game.

Jonathon Woodgate was an abject failure at Middlesbrough and would’ve taken them down had Steve Gibson not acted decisively. Prefer to play them now before Arry’ comes in to assist.

Agreed.
I think any recent improvement might be a result of relief at Tindall leaving rather than Woodgate’s influence.
I don’t think there is any intention to make him permanent
Hughton did have plenty of artillery on the bench with Grabban, Lolley, Alex Mighten and Lyle Taylor among the substitutes.
Forest: Samba; Christie, Figueiredo, Worrall, Bong; Garner, Cafu; Knockaert, Krovinovic, Freeman; Murray
Brooks not starting for them. Caused us problems in the away game. Shane Long starts; shall we give him his diving medal now?j
They're playing 3 forwards, it's not long we need to watch, it's Junior Stanislas.

We’re playing a premiership side today. Really hope we give a good account of ourselves.
Good start is important. If they take control we could be in trouble. We need an early goal.
