this is very sad
thoughts are with Jurgen had this time
Losing a relative to covid is bad enough but being unable to mourn their loss is truly horrific. Poor guy, really feel for him. He has been brave continuing on with everything in the circumstances.
She passed away on 19th Jan and he's still been fronting up with media work, games and training which is beyond the call of duty. He's not been cracking up, he's been grieving.
RIP
19th Jan
he really needs time off man

I didn't realise she had died that long ago! Fecking hell. Id love to see roy Keane be asked on sky what he thinks of his comments now.
Awful news
RIP
Fair play to him for carrying on and not taking time off, it says a lot about his character. Didn't Benitez have this when his Dad died? He refused to go to the funeral because Liverpool were playing a UCL game or something..

Is Keane supposed to be aware of it all like
Should no pundits ever criticise anyone anymore just in case they’ve recently lost a relative?
No, and criticism is part of the game, but shouldn't a pundit be open to criticism like any manager,?
And look in not having a pop at Keane specifically here like I said I'm a massive Keane fan always have been, but when you say a manger is cracking up etc. Then you hear something like then then IMO you can be questioned on it.
Social media is full of posts about klopp being arrogant, angry, dismissive in recent weeks, seems he's got a legitimate reason to be a bit passed off at the moment.
Maybe if he’d said he’s cracking up because of his mother passing away yes, but my guess is he had no idea or I doubt he be so tactless
Yeah I get that and agree he wouldn't be if he'd known.
Makes his reactions much more understandable now.
People like Roy Keane (who i do like as an Irish football fan) need to rethink some of the narratives they've been pushing that hes cracking up etc.
-----------------------------------------
Why?
Everybody has something going on in their private life. If Keane knew beforehand that his mother was bad, he probably would have considered that.
But you can't walk on eggshells all the time just be on the safe side because somebody might have something going on

This.
Very sad to hear. Not sure you can hold it against Keane or anyone else though as nobody knew. People will always have other things going on in their lives. They can only comment on what they see.

I would also add that Klopp has form regarding these petulant outbursts prior anyway.

Why though? Everyone was critising Klopp for getting irate, and everyone thought it was of the poor results.
Why pull someone up on something they said without knowing all facts?

Basic problem with Keanes nonsense, is that at no point did he use the same language to criticise City when they were massively behind Liverpool as reigning champions.
Keane is entertaining, but when it comes to expertise in football management, he simply has none.

No he didn't.
He said he had little sympathy for them with injuries, but they were still a good team, and needed to get their heads down and get on with it.
This was when they were 14 points behind Liverpool.
Fast forward 12 months, Liverpool, ravaged by injury problems, are bad champions with a manager who's cracking up.
As I say, he might be entertaining, but knows feck all about top level management.
Without sounding heartless
That explains our Jan/feb form, very understandable his heart isn’t on the job now
