He needs a run of games, it is harsh to criticize when he has not played for weeks, at least he did not cost us a goal like Winks

Winks is worse than Tom Carroll.... & we got rid of him sharpish

Sad thing is Winks will probably have to start against Man City... as Lamela & N’Dombele won’t recover in time!!!

Heaven help us!!!

Exactly this. Imagine Dele picked up a second yellow! He’d be the perfect scapegoat and would never play for Jose again. That would’ve been on his mind, no doubt.

A flick to lose the ball and a dive for the yellow card are the only things I remember Dele doing when he came on.

I think he lacked match fitness and before the game Jose said he had only just returned to training and said he could play 10 or 15 mins. I was not expecting much from him but he was still better than Winks. Gutted for him because he is one of our own but file him under Mason, Carroll, Livermore ect. Such a shame.

Awful performance. Another player that looks like needs replacing.

I also though Dele looked awful and uninterested. Not done himself any favours

Winks needs to leave for the betterment of his career. Jose doesn't develop young talent.

Skipp replacing Winks in the squad seems the obvious move.

not gonna get anywhere near wheat we could have for Dele when we sell him

Yeah I really wanted Winks to do well. However he isn’t progressing at all, rather regressing. A move to Newcastle, Southampton or Wolves seems about his level. Skipp is the superior of the two and he is on loan.

Watched him closely since he came on. Trotting along, weak in the tackle and poor ball control. Brought no energy to our midfield.

What's happened to him?
