I don’t even know what this means? Are you saying that real fans bury their heads in the sand and say everything is great even when is blatantly obvious that we’re bang in trouble.

The problems we have now runs too deep to single one player out. If Thiago had played last season he would have been a perfect fit IMO.

We are all clapped out and the defence is an absolute shambles. That area needs sorting first. Time for Klopp to pick a back four that can play most of the remaining games. But be all know how hard that’s been to do so far...

I have been a fan for 40 years. Have seen the good and the bad times but that does not prevent me from being critical about things that are not going well for me. It’s not about kicking a man when he is down. I was very excited when we signed Thiago but he just does not fit into our system of press and getting the ball quickly to the front three - therefore, probably better to try something that has given us both a CL and a league title.

The OP certainly has a point criticising Thiago. So far he has been a liability rather than a positive.

We have a woeful injury list, but Thiago, the experienced trophy laden midfielder, hasn't performed at all. He's been light weight, slow and a fouling machine. His style seems at odds with how we play when we are on form.

I thought his performance today after coming on was abject.

We have won 2 of our last 11 PL games. This is not the form that makes top 4.

I don't care what you think and say I have been a LIVERPOOL supporter 72 years and so called supporters anyone else will NEVER change my opinion, end of.

Today was a real eye opener.

The players just capitulated after they scored.

Make no bones about it making the top.four is going to be tough. The wheels have well and truly come off.

He looks slow and cumbersome ..and his fouling is very irrating ...not sure yet where he fits but he needs a bit of time to be fair...
