Scouseknapp nailed it for once on Skyte Sports, he said Dele and Bale have been treated appallingly, and now Mourinho has turned to them to bail him out. Why would they put the effort in for somebody who has treated them so shoddily over the previous weeks?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because it’s their job and they get paid a shed load to do it. Not just for themselves but for us fans.
If they were any good, they will be regulars and on the pitch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
With the greatest of respect, this is a comically naive line of argument.

I like the idea of Klinsmann til the end of the season and then bring in Nagelsmann or ten Haag.
I know people like Rodgers, but I can’t see him leaving Leicester and there’s something about him I really don’t like. I think it’s the fact he has a painting of himself in his living room.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Rodgers is a cant of a bloke just like Jose. But for me he's a top class manager, and that's all I care about.
Imo he would leave Leicester. He has no loyalty, and spurs are a step up on the career ladder with a higher ceiling.

Not wumming but it is all very well saying Jose Out but you have to have an idea of who you want in! And no one is bringing anyone to the table.
Forget this game and the mistakes. I have seen enough from the attacking play V Everton and the performance against West Brom to have an element of positivity. Reg coming back next week will be huge. Toby will be back for the next games too. Tanganga at right back today was solid. I'm not going against the sheep for the sake of it but I do see light at the end of the tunnel. Not sure where we will end up at the end of the season but we need a top class goal keeper, defender and at least 2 CMs to give Jose options and we will be alot nearer to where we want to be. Bringing in new players is the answer for me here before sacking King Jose.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately Levy spent a bundle last Summer, so can see him spending big again this Summer, history is against it ,will take 2 or 3 windows to get that lot in, then the rest of the squad will need replacing, we will never get on top of it.
Levy needs to hire a manager who can work with what we have, and I'm sure that will be the next move, he facked up badly with this one

Would he leave 2nd placed Leceister who have won the league only 5 seasons ago and who seem to be on the up to manage 8th placed Spurs.
Also would he see it as a step up considering his current squad are well balanced and as good if not better than the Spurs squad?

The whole club needs blowing up and rebuilding.
Levy is the cause of all this. Should have backed Pochettino instead of going windows without a purchase. Thats in the past now though and Poch should be forgotten.
But unfortunately under Levy i have no hope for any manager at all. Nobody out there will turn this club around under Levy's stewardship.

For Ten Haag, possibly. Better wages at least. For the other two, a big risk. Nagelsmann making a step to Spurs would be bad for his career. Rodgers was at Celtic before moving to Leicester. That move was a no brainer. Celtic may be historically big, but Leicester but the better pull, money, and the owners aren't looking to sell off everyone.
Part of the problem is Jose is full of excuses and Levy has such a love in for him, I'll wager he swallows those excuses.
So Levy will be swallowing stuff like "it's been a strange season, we're tired, we were unlucky, we need to strengthen further and it will take more time."
In addition, Levy was dumb enough to give Jose a bumper contract so we won't be sacking him now i don't think.
Once we lose the Cup final, get papped out of Europa and finish 7th or 8th then Levy may feel forced to act. If fans could be back in the stadium to boo the football every game that would be beneficial in helping Levy get his finger out.
Spurs are part of the big 6. Spurs' revenue is more than twice that of Leicester's. Far bigger transfer and wage budgets. Spurs very rarely have to sell their top players, whereas Leicester often do.
Leicester have clearly built up a quality squad through excellent recruitment over the years, but it's unlikely they will continually strike gold. Spurs, like any top 6 club gives a manager a bigger platform to compete at the top. I'd say the same about Arsenal.
