I wouldn't mind seeing him getab run of games, he can't be any worse than Lucas.

I've always maintained that he should be given a run of games to see if he can show anything. We've given Lucas and Lamela a bit of a run out, we can do the same with Bale.

That wee bit of skill against City, I wouldn't be reading too much into that. He showed a nice bit of skill in one of the Europa games ages ago. They are glimpses but he has to be able to put in a shift with many good moments which he hasn't really done yet.

He can't do any worse than he has been. The only way is up for Bale

Hugo

Rodon Toby
Aurier Reggie
Hojbjerg

N’Dombele Dele

Kane

Bale Son

Should be our starting 11 moving forward when all are available. With perhaps Tanganga instead of Rodon. Time to break of the shackles, our defence isn’t good enough to play containment football.

He will be lucky to get on the pitch in a Mourinho team and with our shoddy defenders, Mourinho wants his forwards to track back and help out his hapless defenders, that`s not Bale`s game

Prefer to see him come on earlier as a sub to see if he deserves a run.

The suggestion that he gets a long run now is the same as suggesting we get Eriksen back, or we might as well give Vertonghen another go. He's shown nothing in the same timescale to suggest he warrants it.

Lucas has been poor, Stevie B has shown glimpses... Bale has been on the pitch for a gentle jog around at best so far.

He tracked back against city, rewind the game and watch.
he does look like he wants to start paying some of that trust given to him by Levy, back.

If he gets more confidence then he could be key. That was devastating what he did around 4 city players and made their keeper pull off aa great save to deny him.

He should be thrusted in there more.

Exactly Ace. And for all the 783 mins are whatever he has had. Without his goal at Brighton, we would be behind Arsenal right now. Showing just how far we have fallen under Jose.

For me I don't understand why we don't give Bale a chance behind the striker.

Lucas is not cutting it there and neither was Alli.

I would go with a MF of

Ndombele Hojbjerg

Lamela/Bergwein Bale Son

Kane

I also expect that the return of Regilion will be massive for us.

I want to see:

Lolris

Lolrier (best of a bad bunch)
Toby / Dier
Rodon
Lol Davies (Reg when fit)

Hojberg
Ndombele

Son
Dele / Lamela
Bale

Kane

Jose bought him on at 3-0 down to teach him a lesson.

Yep..learned him right up...nearly scored a worldie

Said it at the start and I stand by it, our strongest front 3 are Kane, Son and Bale. Not Stevie f*** Bergwijn, or Lucas, or even Lamela. Bale needs a run of games. If he’s still bang average, then we hold our hands up and say the experiment didn’t work. Give him a proper go Jose ffs. You gave Stevie “can’t score or assist “ enough chances.

He gave Stevie B chances because he was fit and ready unlike Bale who needed 3 months to get fit. Is he still 100% fit?

Stevie has the legs to run back and defend for 90 mins, that is why he gets picked. Can`t score or assist, but he can help out defensively, which is Mourinho`s preference. Somebody needs to remind Mourinho, you don`t win games by keeping a clean sheet and failing to score.

You’re clutching at straws mate. For a start, Jose needs to play him for him to have an impact. Whenever we need a goal he brings Sissoko, Lamela and Winks on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
🤣🤣🤣
True
Sissoko is ahead of Bale when we need to attack !!

I find the narrative around Bale very interesting - and how a player who has cost us around £6m so far for doing next to nothing can be so continually defended. I’m not sure where the blind faith has collectively come from but it’s a shame it can’t be afforded to more of our players. Imagine Ndombele getting this level of support last season.

From JJ

For example, when he brought Moussa Sissoko on at half-time, the score was 1-0 and Mourinho is probably thinking we just need to stay in this game, and if we do then there are things that can happen.

That's not a snub to Bale, and neither is bringing him on when you are trying to get back in the game. Only leaving him on the bench or out of his squad completely would have been doing that.
