I'd move Henderson back. Wouldn't be throwing a player playing Championship football up to now into the deep end in a pressure game. Introduce him slowly and find out if he's good enough for these games.

Fab is not back so it will be Kabak and Hendo. DCL will probably target Hendo with the long balls we will be getting today.

I’d be tempted to play Phillips up against DCL. They have some other big players too who will be threats from set pieces.

It amazes me how many people fail to understand that defence is as much (more??) about shape and tactics and discipline than individuals. That is why VVD was so important. He transformed the performance of others around him (while also bringing a world class performance himself). Playing 2 completely new CBs is madness really.

Set pieces will be a concern today for sure. They've got great delivery and 4 or 5 that can cause us issues. Hopefully Carlo shows some balls and they come at us a bit.

Will be very surprised if they do. I think they will play like Burnley did against us. Defend deep and then hit balls over the top for DCL

No doubt Digne, DCL, Rodriguez n Allan will all be rushed back after being rested vs city n fulham.

Carlo has always set his team up super defensive vs us and to frustrate/counter. They've got good players in DCL James n Richarlison who can hurt you, but theyll prob rely on set pieces n delivery of digne.

Maybe today is the day where Ox or Keita repay us their hefty transfer fees and pay us back for what we bought them for. I.e run at defences to create opportunities in tight matches with teams sitting back.
