Don't worry mate, there's now just another 5 teams currently better than them.

A bit of a mess that team

No defenders, no creativity, wasted money on Thiago who doesn't fit their high intensity football.

Not to mention that players like Salah will want to move on and VVD won't be the same when he comes back.

Loving it

Best champions in the history of the PL aren't they?
In the words of Greta, how dare you!

The difference is that when our fans aren’t allowed in the ground it actually makes a difference. I remember when United fans didn’t even care about us. Shouldn’t you guys be concentrating on your best chance to win the league. Leave that to the blue side of Manchester shall we 😉

Well your ‘best football team in the world’ isn’t going to affect the final outcome.

You hardly dropped a point at home for months. It's not the fans, it's that the players are tired of running relentlessly for Klopp

But but Tier 2, the old excuse that you are more affected by a lack of fans than everyone else again

Wonder if Fergie has pulled out a bottle of whiskey to celebrate tonight. I remember when United celebrated actually winning things.

You dropped 4 points at home in 2020. Not an issue of fans. It's tiredness

And 2 of those points came in the last game of 2020, against West Brom, when this run of results started

Every team has had to face the same empty stadiums. It may have had some effect earlier on when it was first introduced since the first lockdown and then the start of the new season. But pretty much all teams are somewhat more used to it now.

As someone else has pointed out, i think it's more down to the fact that your players are tired. A few seasons of high intensity football is going to take its toll on any team.

Where’s your stats? You don’t seem to have any.

Not saying there’s nothing to do with the manager, but this “stopped running for him” is all a bit lazy.

There’s literally a correlation with zero fans and poor home results.
When the team starts well, maybe less of a problem, but when they need a lift - the crowd isn’t around to provide it.
If there is a lack of application from players it would have far more to do with the crowd than their physical conditioning.

Do you not think Man Utd would have beaten Sheff Utd with a crowd?

It was novel having footy when everything else is in lockdown but the lack of actual fans is certainly a drawback.

I posted the stats, you chose to ignore them. You dropped 2 points at home up until the last home game of 2020. You haven't won in 6 since. It's nothing to do with lack of fans

The running / intensity stats that are the basis for your reasoning.

Also consider that you are postulating that when a team is going through a rough patch, the fans do nothing for them.

Just plain wrong.
