Who is a realistic option for next manager?

Hassenhutl probably. Gonna have to be a cheaper option after spunking so much on Jose and his pay off.

Nuno maybe a possibility as well.

Outside idea Lopetegui

All those seem pretty meh to me
Don’t know if I can be aaarsed with another new era

Nuno at Wolves would have definitely been a good shout a season or so ago. But is having an indifferent season with Wolves. Think he has an ideal set up over there at the moment so maybe unlikely too.

Managerial change will make zero difference when you have defenders like Dier and a goalie like Lloris. The mistakes Spurs make at the back are laughable, and no manager would sort that out with the current personnel.

I love the way football fans think changing manager is as easy as playing Fantasy Football. Managers are only as good as the players, Poch was only any good when he had players at their peak, as soon as some were sold, or were ageing, he couldn`t fix it. Mourinho is finding the same problems.

100% the defence is a joke any manager would struggle.

Jose has had enough transfer windows to correct the defence

He said he was happy with the squad.

His fault.

Mourinho had a influx of fresh players in Summer, still can't do anything with them, Sure even Moyes would get a better tune out of them

For me, realistically, Potter, Hassenhuttl, or Howe. There would be no compensation for Howe, which I guess would be a benefit for Levy.

With the defenders we have, we need a manager who believes attack is the best form of defence, like Rodgers I guess. That is the opposite of Jose’s philosophy

Either of the first 2 will do

Howe's teams are pretty shocking at defence in recent history.
Do we want to put ourselves through that with a new manager? I like him, but not sure he's what we need

Graham Potter would be brilliant with top class players.

Can’t see him getting a big job though because his names graham potter and he looks a bit strange

Can't see how Rodgers is realistic seeing as he'd be leaving a team in form with CL next season for a struggling team without it.

Yep. Out of those 3 I'd rather Potter.

I agree, but realistically, I don't think we are able to get many of the others on the list. Plus, because of the massive payout we'd have to get rid of Jose, I can't see Levy approaching a manager who would require us paying compensation for.

Unfortunately I'm not a chairman, but I disagree about the compensation.

They paid more to take a punt on Sanchez than it'll cost to be rid of Jose.

Compensation for a new manager will be no less than a half decent signing, if they're worth it, pay it.

Hopefully. If that isn't an issue, I'd like Spurs to go all out for Rodgers. If not him, maybe Potter.

Although at the minute, I think I'd have Neil Warnock over Mourinho.

I still think Adi Hutter is the one who would improve us the most. He’s got Frankfurt flying at the moment

Not Allegri. People need to realise that Managers with the best pedigree aren’t always the best fit

Regardless of who we want where stuck with Jose till the summer regardless.
I say we ding him in the summer regardless and go for Carlo Ancelotti from Everton.

He may be getting on a bit but is still a top Manager and plays good football.

Whom ever we get were still gonna be stuck with Levy and ENIC pulling the strings regardless.

I'm supprised no one has mentioned Ernesto Valverde as an option.

For me it's hard to pinpoint one in particular as they will all have pros and cons. I think Nagelsmann would be great as I like what he's done at RB Leipzig and his training methods are apparently new, modern and exciting and although young he has the respect of his players. Negatives only managed in Germany and plays a really high line which might not suit us or the Premier league week in week out although I'm sure he's tactically aware to tweak this where needed.

Rogers obviously another popular choice, gets his teams playing well, improves players, can use various formations, coped with injuries well at Leicester, and knows the Premier league.

Cons - not won a trophy in England if I'm not mistaken as came up just short with Liverpool and probably won't win one with Leicester although time will tell. Also I find him a smug so and so!

Finally Potter - I'm really unsure but I look at Brighton and see the football they play which is head and shoulders above us it's just they can't seem to put the ball in the back of the net, that shouldn't be a problem with our forwards though. Is there a reason he's not been linked bigger clubs?

The bottom line for me is were never going to be a really top top club winning trophies while ENIC are still here, sorry but it's time for them to go!
