That’s up to you, but I wouldn’t put them in that bracket - they’re more impressive coaches.

Out of interest, it Ole was sacked who would you like to become the next coach? There’s not a massive list of coaches that tick all the boxes needed to be United manager, which is how we’ve ended up with Ole in the first place.

I have genuinely no idea. I think I'm clearer about what I don't want, definitely not a return to a possession based defensive minded coach. If you can find a risk taker out there I'd be all for it. I'm a romantic, I love the fact that Busby dismantled a team to play Colman, Byrne, Taylor Edwards and the rest, and that Fergie cleared the decks for the class of 92. They're the exceptions that seem to be the rule in my head

That’s fair enough, I’m the same. And why I’d prefer ‘lesser’ managers to the more proven top coaches that wouldn’t bring entertaining style of football to United. If Ole was doing this I wouldn’t care that we aren’t winning things, or competing for big titles. The perfect manager for Manchester United doesn’t exist, so unfortunately we have to pick up ones that have plenty of question marks over them.

We played very well at home in the 4th game and were more than holding our own against PSG until Fred got sent off.

We were 2-1 down when he got sent off, and guess what? 95% of the posters were saying Ole should've hooked him off from the beginning. More stellar work from the manager there.
