Can only be good for football then can’t it. Would be boring other wise.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's been brilliant for the premiership this season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It would have been if City hadn't run away with it. Would have loved a four way plus scrap for the title. Just doesn't happen, which is a shame. When you look at who City may bring in for next season too... it is going to be really tough.
—————————————————————————
What do you expect from unlimited funds? No one else has a chance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well that isn't true. Everyone had a chance due to how City started the season. They also have walked the league without a striker. The fact is that Pep sorted the defence out and made them more of a complete team down to coaching and adapting. Of course their squad is amazing, but they hardly did anything in the summer. Which is why they'll go big again this summer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hardly did anything. They spent 120mthis guy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They bought Dias and two players for the squad who have hardly played... for City, that is pretty limited when you compare what they have done, and will do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Irrelevant. You said hardly did anything. I would hardly say spending 120m is hardly doing anything
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd think its pretty apparent that the 'hardly anything' comment is relative to their spending power and ability to bring players in.
If United sign one player for 5 million and that was their only business, there would be uproar. Now an Aldershot Town fan can be pedantic and say its not nothing, you've spent millions etc but it would be clear that the uproar or in the limited activity versus what we are capable of.
Lotta city supporting united fans ...
Seen a good few of them over the last 3 or 4 seasons ..
Good united team currently with a good squad ..and up to a few games ago ye were in a title chat ...but yer happy again with city back to dominating ..
Ps..the banters waaay more crack when liverpool and top ..as much as i hate united ..
City dominating is boring beyond belief
Liverpool and united * are top
When are people going to realise that City do not have an unlimited budget?

City are just an Arab's toy plaything. Let them spend another billion for a few more titles, nobody will give a hoot.
Leicester's 1 Premier League Title win will always be revered and rememberd more in history than anything City do. Leicester made history, City just bought it.

Can’t say I have seen any myself. A lot of us despise Liverpool fans more than City fans. That is standard though. That might be what you mean.
I've never met a city supporting United fan.
I mustn't be looking hard enough if there are lots of them.

The irony of an Aston Villa fan writing that.
When Aston Villa were last a semi-decent team, it was on the back of significant owner investment that saw the club reach the lofty heights of 5th in the Premier League.
Your comment is a joke. Ignorant of your own club's history (a club that was built on owner investment at various points in its history). In fact, every single big club that exists today has been built on investment.
And that, also ironically, includes Leicester - without an owner financially backing the club that he owned, that club wouldn't have even made it into the Premier League.

I've seen my club break records for transfers and I loved every minute of it. Signing the likes of Rooney, Rio etc you knew you had good cause for optimism.
I'd be an absolute hypocrite if I bemoaned another team doing it and realistically the only way a team will move up to the top tier and stay there is by spending money.
A large part of what makes a club unlikeable are it's fans and I've never found any city fans to be a group that I dislike. I know several city fans and its always been more of a friendly, banter type of rivalry than anything else.
The likes of United and Liverpool as a rivalry isn't "banter".
A lot of the big teams in Europe have struggled with succession planning. A lot will not have the financial clout to get them back where they used to be. Also the talent pool (players and managers) is greatly reduced.
