See they voices in yer head Mary.
Don't listen to them.
....and the obsession continues!!!
I think Maryhillbear has a point and he is merely quoting Mr. Lennon.
He did exactly the same for the disallowed goal. Linesman was happy to give a goal, ref didnt know what was happening and I actually think it was the guy behind the goal that gave a foul even though I thought it was offside too. Why is a conspiracy to state facts? The ref was so poor last night, does that count as a conspiracy too?

Kal, it's a sad indictmnent on the man's paranoid mind that he questions the motives behind penalty awards - FOR HIS OWN TEAM!

... yet he didn't look like he wanted to give it

Oh dear.
This is the height of paranoia.
The delay was because 'he didnt want to give it?'
Why on earth would he not want to give it?
Go on...entertain us with your theory.....
I think Lennon should count himself extremely lucky that after 20 or 30 seconds a pen was still awarded.
If there's any shred of doubt, no pen should be given.
Heard from `The Top' that I will be getting drunk tonight - FACT
Better to hesitate and use his assistants than get the call wrong. Both were penalties.
20 or 30 seconds? Have a word with yourself Lennon. I would estimate between 4 and 7 seconds before the decision was made. I am sure the ref was aware what the outcome would be if he gave a penalty and then changed his decision as it would have been a "windies put in and calls for his dismissal" moment.

Spot on. The ref got the call RIGHT in Celtic's FAVOUR.
Yet, Lenny STILL moans.
Lenny will have to change his single vision lenses for bifocals , he should have gone to specsavers

I'm sorry but the one we conceded was not a penalty, he brushed Hooper and hit the deck. He also didnt hesitate when he gave the penalty against us.
Do Specsavers do teeth. .
Naw, but Lennon disnay do his either
Hooper clearly impedes the player of that there is NO doubt. Now, in the auld days it might have been given as obstruction. As for Mr. Lennon saying Hooper did everything he could to get out the way is quite simply not true.
Nice one Colin, nice one son.
Dave, Is that only your opinion or a fact?
Putting Samaras on and having Hooper back "defending" was in insightful piece of football management anyway. Long Live Lenny!
Amazing crowd at Celtic Park last night - EXACTLY 37,000.
Hmmmm
Anyway, reckon a draw was a fair result - Udinese should have had a penalty earlier, so as we all say - these things even themselves out.
