At the end of the day we have unprecedented defensive injuries so it is normal we aren't great there. You can throw your toys out of the pram and demand the alternative as much as you want but, news flash, there is no good alternative.

Fab is a bang on starter to whomever said he isn't in a normal season. Just been played out of position all season

In the last 3 years VVD and Gomez defended the channels which allowed our fullbacks to push higher up without worrying about defending.

Fabinho or Hendo can't do this.

Keita and Jota are needed just for that extra pace and unpredictablity. We have become too predictable.

Lets face it. The entire team has been poor and they csnt hsndle a long ball.

Chelsea are much improved and are bossing it, we are struggling to get a.foothold. Not really much to be happy about tbh

Weird that Fabinho seems to be getting the criticism when it’s been Trent thats been the one has been absolutely hopeless defensively.

Ye but they are both back from long term injuries so are unreliable at the moment. It would be great to play them but we can't just chuck them in.,

Can I suggest if Klopp had a plan B and didn't always play a high line defence then perhaps things would be different.

Playing the same way with defenders not only not first/second or third choice but also unsuitable for playing a high backline is just asking for trouble.

Well yes exactly that. Lets say for example we have a 40% chance of winning a game with Fab in defence. If with Williams it is a 20% chance then you play fking Fab. The fact we lose 60% of games with him isn't proof we should play Williams you pleb
