Phillips was injured tonight. But ye his solid Bundesliga 2 pedigree is the answer.

There is no doubt that injuries have destroyed our season. No doubt at all.

Chelsea were better all over the pitch tonight.

However there is a.genuine lack of desire and heart from some players, which is concerning.

Milner has to play at the moment. We need some on pitch leadership without Hendo and VVD.

Klopp I think now needs to alter the approach by changing the system. It's badly needs freshening up. The lack of pace with our CB options and the high line killed us tonight.

Chelsea were very impressive. Tuchel is light years ahead old rookie Lumplard.

Agree, but if Phillips is injured then dont play Fab in defence! Does more damage to our overall play

Tiredness partly ye - Jota was injured so there was no alternative.
But the overall impact on our system is the real issue. The full backs cant get forward the same as our best midfield coverers are injured or in defence. Firmino is dropping really deep and working in very little space and Mane and Salah are often isolated. Plus then the general lack of confidence that has crept in due to the issues has made it a vicious circle.

Firmino is on decline
Mane plays like his hairline
Mo is top scorer in PL

I Still go back to midfield. We need them to press but with Thiago in the side he has become the weak link. The machine is broken.

Awful. But again a penalty decision didnt go our way.

Its almost every game where we dont get the 50/50 decisions.

How about his pedigree in the Premier League so far where he has been brilliant? And yes the answer is letting world class defensive center mid play in center mid.

Brilliant?? Don't get me wrong, he's been fairly good but he's never going to be a top 6 defender (maybe not even prem) and I think Fab outclasses him massively in general. I am very convinced that playing Phillips and Kabak will result in chaos at the back
