Plenty of teams are winning by fortune and luck, and yet somehow we need to be "better" and win by 4 goals every game?
Ffs, 3 points is done and dusted
Lots of clubs are fighting for their lives, and playing like their lives depend on it?

My money is on Spurs, certain fraction of them, voting down this article

Sad, really. The fans are divided since Poch left and some fans are anti-establishment and then those who dream of Poch.

What a mess this club is in!

Take the 3 points and run, it was not easy away on a tight pitch against an in form team who are scrapping for their lives. They had fresher legs and it showed, they were quicker to the ball, our 3 games a week and heavy season schedule has not helped us.

Felt bad for Fulham's disallowed goal, as the player literally had his arm against his body, but take that goal aside, and the only save that Lloris was forced in to was one that was going over the bar anyway (plus a late one straight at his arm I guess)
We played shocking, and wasn't easy on the eye, but still allowed very few chances.

Take the 3 points and set up to attack first half again next game I guess...

Fulham was always gonna be a tough game, they’ve built up a strong resistance and have a decent striker in Maja.

Anyway, could be worse Liverpool are on course to lose their 5th Prem home game in a row.

Could you imagine the meltdown if Spurs lost five home games in a row.

Still think Liverpool are coming above us. They pretty much are still on another planet. Won the league last season Billy. You be spunking in your pants giving it to them if we did that.

That doesn't make a lot of difference Don, Spurs can go above them if they win their game in hand. Spurs may smash Man United twice this season, but if United get top four, and Spurs don't, it will count for nothing.

Truth is Fulham deserved to get something from this game.......
and we lucked out for once.
Not a confidence building experience at all.
Something has to happen with the back four.
How about playing Ndombele at CB when Lo Celso comes back?
Sorry, but I can't think of anything else................
you wouldn't want Sissoko there, would you?
And Sanchez ...

posted on 5/3/21

Oh yes.... and the hand ball rule just has to change.
This was a simply terrible game which we managed to luck out, for once.

Nonsense. Trophies buy a Manager and players time. Hence why Klopp won't get sacked this season and probably why Arteta kept his job whilst Lampard lost his.

You'd be hard pushed to find two worse full backs than Doherty and Davies. Jose tends to like them as they're supposed to be more defensively sound but whilst that might be true, playing Aurier and Reggy means the whole defensive line can push another 20 yards up the field. For me, that's more expansive and it means less pressure on our goal. In effect, playing our more attacking full backs is strangely the safest option.

Fulham are a good team scrapping for their lives (similar to Brighton, they wouldn't be where they are if they had a decent striker) but that second half performance was absolutely woeful, I think the whole performance was and no own goal is going to change that. We won last night for one reason and one reason only... good fortune.

Chelsea have sacked every manager fairly quickly after they had won trophies. Ranieri got the sack less than a year after winning Leicester their first ever major competition in their history. So nonsense really to say trophies keep you in a job, they clearly don`t.

Dan Arsenal is completely right. If you win what Klopp has won for Liverpool it gives you credit in the bank with the owners and fans. They know they've got a gem and it's about seeing this sticky patch through. If you don't win anything, play poorly quite often and THEN lose 5 home games on the bounce then of course we'd have a major problem with it. Maybe your argument will hold up Sandy when Jose wins us the CL and League

Sanchez was probably our MoM last night and superb against Burnley also.

One Swallow doesn't make a spring, but makes such a difference have Toby alongside him.
