Those who say we've left it too late need to have a look at the table, we are right in amongst it.
We have to turn up against Utd and Everton and just get it done against the likes of Palace and Newcastle. I think by the time we play them Leicester will be well out of it but you never know.
City are going to win it but everything else at the top of the Prem is up for grabs.

Spot on Pawl. I cannot see how Spurs are out of it, yet Liverpool are still in it. Same with Chelsea if Spurs move to within two points of them.
Leicester for example still have to play Man City, West Ham, and there last three games are Chelsea and Man United away, and Spurs home. So they could quite easily get reeled in, especially as they have lots of injuries.

It wouldn't surprise me to see 1 or more teams, beside Leicester dropping out of top 5 too.

There’s an outside chance we could do it, but there would have to be an upswing in form. We’ve been averaging something like 1.59 points per game this season, which apparently will have us finish on 59 points should it continue. We’d have to go on an almost title winning run of form to get a top 4 spot. The bonus is teams around us seem to be dropping points too.
I could actually see Everton, with no Europe to distract them, nicking 4th. Ancelotti is a seasoned competitor and will be making that his target.
Taking 9 from 9 across this weeks game prior to the NLD was a must. Job done so far (although we made hard work of it last night), essential to beat Palace now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ace, we’re not getting top 4 mate. I knew people would go overboard if we had beaten Burnley and Fulham. When do we learn? Don’t get over excited with this team. Say we drop points v palace Sunday which is highly impossible, then what ? We seem to be going with us pretty much winning most of our games, in which our form this season shows isn’t happening. We have a small outside chance, but I highly doubt we are getting top 4. United and Leicester for all their poor recent form are still miles infront. Everton are winning games and are in form. Westham and Chelsea the same. We basically need 3 clubs to hit poor form, whilst we win nearly every match. It isn’t going to happen. Europa is our best shot of getting CL.
I'm not writing it off yet Don.
Other than City all the top teams have had plenty of mixed results and poor performances this season.
Take this weekend for example City play Utd and Chelsea play Everton. If we do our job against Palace then 4th could really be on come Sunday night.

Don, if Spurs win their game in hand, then they are five points behind Leicester and six points behind United. That is not miles behind. Spurs were 13 points behind Leicester under two weeks back. Leicester have a very difficult end to the season, so they could easily be reeled in, they have hit a bit of bad form, and have major injuries. They could quite easily drop as quickly as Spurs did. Even Chelsea, who are unbeaten since the new manager arrived, would only be a couple of points in front of Spurs.
This season is very up and down, for every club bar City. Anything could happen from now until May.
I could actually see Everton, with no Europe to distract them, nicking 4th. Ancelotti is a seasoned competitor and will be making that his target.

I think a lot of supporters are thinking it is only Spurs that are going to get poor results. All the clubs in or around Spurs are more than capable of dropping lots of points. Even this week, Leicester dropped two, Liverpool dropped three, Man United dropped two, Aston Villa dropped three, West Ham dropped three at the weekend.
Spurs have been inconsistent, but that was mainly down to having a tough fixture schedule, a few injuries, and being involved in three cup competitions. Basically now they have a fully fit squad, basically just the Europa Cup and the last 11 games of the Prem. The League Cup Final is a one off game, where any result is possible.

Not chelsea. Beginning of the season we had no clue what to expect

I like this prediction:-
Stephen Warnock: Thiago Alcantara would make a huge difference to Liverpool's midfield if they can get him from Bayern and I still think they need another centre-half, like most of the top teams do. But, even without them buying anyone else, I still go through Klopp's side and think they are the team to beat.
Good article, but think us being in the Europa will be more of a hinderance than people realise, and I can see us falling into the same trap that Arsenal have a couple of times now - going for both top four and Europa to have two chances of CL football next season, and ultimately getting neither. Would be a real kick in the teeth. I know we have a big squad, but at least one of the Europa games we have against Zagreb or the next round if we get through will be a taxing game that makes us drop points in a league game, I guarantee it.
Spurs have been inconsistent, but that was mainly down to having a tough fixture schedule

We have played more games than any side in the top European league....9 more games - so if the players are a little jaded, it is understood.
Look at other teams who have more than 1 game a week, and who have started later than Spurs, having therefore nice little break, their players look jaded too.
