I think the more direct approach of Everton will give him more to worry about than he's had so far.
That said he can only play against the opposition put up against him and the last few games have been very promising for a player I'd almost nearly given up on, given his age.
I'd say between now and the end of the season could be make or break for him at Chelsea.
If he continues to progress, it begs the question - What happens when Silva is fit again?
Man Utd game was supposed to be a big test for him too !! He was reasonably comfortable. Looks like Rudiger has returned to his old self. Also, AC can play as RCB (in Azpi's place) if TT continues to play 3 CB's.
Our defensive record since Tuchel took over, is owed to the fact of the extra protection from the midfield, narrowing the gap between the defence and the midfield that existed under Lampard.
I'm more concerned about our attack atm. Giroud or Tammy is more suited against Everton.

Well United's attack without Cavani is not physical so you completely missed that point plus the fact that his comeback is playing with 2 other CBs, allowing him to play a very different role than when playing as one of two CBs,where he has been very poor.
I am assuming TT will stick with 3 CB's against Everton.
I agree, playing him in a 2 CB's could be an issue.

^^ This, Everton will be a test of whether he is talented but milky or not. His performances recently have been outstanding and I felt a case could be made for him being MOM in both our last 2 games.
As to what happens to him when Silva comes back. Couldn't they play together or do we think it wouldn't be a good fit? Silva appears to me to be able to play with a variety of partners with different attributes.
Tuchel has experimented with Christensen in the position Azpi occupies against Barnsley, one would assume that would be an option whenever Silva returns to the lineup.
Alternatively...midfield.
Azpi is perfect or the RCB role. His knowledge and experience of playing RB gives him a massive advantage for the role. It would be a mistake to drop him.

Interesting, wouldn't mind seeing Christensen tried in midfield although not at this point in the season. Maybe in a preseason game.

Even though it is Azpi’s best position I don’t think he is undroppable there. He is quite often now the weak link in the chain when trying to beat the press.

I would rather have him at RCB than AC.
Why would we want AC in Midfield ?
