Improved under TT, but the jury is still out on him. Reece performing equally good in his position too !!!
for me are both reece and mason much better than Callum. I rate callum and Billy about the same.

Manager at the time...Sarri & board needed to know what's what.
Almost lost one of our greatest young talents due to Sarri' disdain, gross mishandling & negligence (failing to act and develop accordingly).
Reluctantly started him in the end, after being forced...which was grotesque!
-------------------------------------------------------
Still amazes me how any fan or person within the club could identify Sarri, do their homework on him, and be surprised by this?
Even ignoring the fact promoting youth has never been his priority, the style of football was & he couldn't have spelled that out any clearer. You've even acknowledged yourself his biggest weakness back then was off the ball movement, literally the main thing 'SarriBall' requires from the front five in particular (his Napoli team had the lowest rate of dribbles in Europe, the style was intensive pass & move). Of course Pedro was gunna be the guy, deadly off the ball movement was/is his thing. He was Callejon.
Your abandon the fabric of the club comment perfectly sums up why Sarri (in hindsight) wasn't meant to work. Ironically not giving young players de facto priority was probably the only thing he had in common with Abramovich's Chelsea - and maybe being Italian
The ar’sehole should have made sure we kept Musiala too. Hate seeing him flourish with those Bayern pr’cks.

Nah im with cmf on the fk sarri train
That's cool, I can understand why Sarri would annoy some Chelsea fans, but he didn't do anything that surprised me personally. I did my research, also knew a couple of Napoli fans in my job which was a handy viewpoint, and the guy we got was exactly as advertised. That's the club fault, not Sarri's.
If you've got a productive youth setup that starting to bear fruit & you wanna capitalise on that, don't hire him. Very simple. At that time Jardim would've been the more fitting appointment (or Tuchel funnily enough) if that's where the motivations were going forward.
