Gazza`s freekick in the cup semi at Wembley
Kanu flicking it over the defenders head then smashing it past the keeper is a massively underrated goal.
Adebayor flicking it up and volleying in from 30 yards.
Tony Adams 88th minute volley to put Arsenal 2-1 up in the 96/97 season. Followed by a Bergkamp special to seal the deal.
Thierry Henry running from just outside his own box.
The most memorable goals, for me, though are David Rocastle in the 87 semi final and Tony Adams in the 93 semi final.
Adebayor flicking it up and volleying in from 30 yards.
======================
Yeah, it was a great goal which was only 1 move receive the ball with his back to the goal, swivel and unleash a volley into the back of the net!
I have to say I was in admiration at the time, but also I was gutted too. The guy then milked the celebrations too, just to rub our noses in
Followed by a Bergkamp special to seal the deal.
=========================
In terms footballing technical skills, no one can come close to this guy - Bergkamp. Just to see him line-up against you must have terrorised the defenders
Though don't recall many goals from him against us.
Maybe selective memory in action!

Gazza ‘91 semi final
I was 12 years old. Amazing memory
The two 4-4 draws in the 1960s, and Terry Dyson scoring a hat-trick, the only Spurs player to ever score a hat-trick in a North London Derby.

That was when the ball nestled in the far right hand corner, right?
It was sublime goal and the celebrations were mad!

That was when there were 100k cramming in a space barely enough for 40k right?

It was always hotly contested, although supporters did mix back then, so you could go to the match with your gooner mates and stand and chat to each other. Much better than all the segregation that goes on now.

60,000 back then was reasonably comfortable, it was when you got past the 65,000 mark it got a bit tight. I was in one crowd of 68,000 against Sunderland in the cup, where I didn`t see a single goal, and Spurs won 5-0.
Kane’s in the 2-2 is still one of the times I’ve most celebrated a goal

Completely lost my sheeet and she stormed out the house calling me a nutter. 🤣

Nothing will beat that Gazza goal, the commentary is perfect as well. Arsenal were the best team in the country at the time and we played them off the park on the day - although Seaman did have one of his mares.
That Gazza goal though is seared in to the memory.
Kane’s late header in the 2-1 win was a memorable also as I was in a pub that seemed to be 90% Gooners - it was nearly empty a minute after that one went in.
Has to be gazza free kick in 91
“Is he gonna have a crack? He is you know .....ooooh I say!! That is schoolboys own stuff!!”
That commentary is burned into my mind for the last 30 years, and likely will be until I die
Barry Davies is a spurs fan also
Best goal I ever saw was the goal that wasn't given.
Scored from the halfway line......
but hooked out of the net by a cheating GK
who got away with it because the linesman was at the halfway line when the ball was kicked.
Anyone remember who the scorer was?
And who the cheating GK was?
And who the teams were?
