Why can't they wait until the end of the season. It doesn't make sense this early, we might still end up winning nothing and finishing outside top 4. But then again Ole is the perfect man for Glazers, a yes man that won't ruffle any feathers, half the fans won't care because it's an ex player, won't kick up a fuss if he doesn't get his transfers, just happy to be there.

The only way a manager will be sacked under glazers is if they don’t make top 4. Ole might not be the guy to take us back to the top but the real issue is the glazers. I really hope they back him in the summer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's still a chance we wont make top 4 and we are also in a spot of bother in the Europa
What happens if it does go tiitts up between now and the end of the season ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s the spirit
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The point being these are the same cants that sacked a utd manager within hours of an fa cup triumph and they've given the present manager a 2 million quid raise with only a couple of months left of the season
This is a facked up season anything can still happen
A longer contract does send a 'this is your manager, buy into his methods' message to the players.

Jose was on £15m a year for us
I want Ole to get his contract in May with 2nd place hopefully in the bag.
Don't see the urgent need to do anything right now.
I think he should get a 6 year contract like the chosen one did
Ole gets a lot of stick and at times he deserves it, however some of the criticism on here at times is a joke.
We are currently sat 3nd in the league, with a midfield 2 made up largely of either fred, mctominay or matic all season... for me this is by far off the cleverley and Anderson partnership that won us the league under fergie.... but would anyone not swap those for the likes of Kovacic and kante or Ndidi and maddison.
Look at the right wing... would anyone say James is anywhere near as good as the likes of son, mane, Salah, Harvey barnes ??
We have a squad of good players, but only a handful who would likely on paper get in the first 11 of the teams around us, probably shaw, bruno an on form pogba and maybe rashford.
Second place is
Ed is about to make Culer a very happy boy.

Better sign him up quick, there’s a whole plethora of clubs after Ole lining up to sign him. Need to make a statement he’s going nowhere and give him an offer he can’t refuse, £9mil should do it.

Anyway, I did say the timing of the Dof appointment hinted that this might happen.

Nevermind Leicester, West ham are 6 points behind us with a game in hand. That's what you call getting the best out of your squad. But that's Moyes's level. If we're not going to spend much, we need someone who can do this at the top level.

It is the same as when we appointed him as the manager on a permanent basis. There was no need to do it when we did. It should have waited until the end of the season.

Exactly!! This squad is exactly where it should be with the collapse of Liverpool. Comparing this midfield to that of Anderson and Insinuating this manager is doing a fantastic job is false- He is doing what is expected of a Manchester United manager.
