Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm almost certain you'll be the only team we've managed to do the double against...
LOL, Spurs are the 2nd top scorers in Europe, over 100 goals. Honestly not sure what supporters want. I am enjoying this season. Plenty of goals, some decent wins, losses, who cares. It is part of being a football fan.
Let`s go back to the bad old days, where Spurs could barely muster 50 goals a season in all competitions.
good article
Sandy, we have played more games than every team in Europe and a lot of those goals are in the Europa qualifies.
in fact you pointing out scoring goals makes it even worse that we dont try to score them more often in 'bigger' games when we are seemingly capable.

You don't win titles for scoring against European sheep headers I'm afraid sandy.
Why don't we score some goals against teams that aren't in the bottom half of the table?
Have West Ham ever finished above Spurs in the premier league by the way? Jose must be nervous.
We haven't finished outside the top 6 since 2009.
I'd say apart from the season of peak poch in 2017 this is the best squad we have had in that time.
Quite remarkable how bad a job the special one is doing

Yup quite extraordinary, considering he was so heavily backed in the summer transfer window and we were told we have the best squad ever.
Maybe the problem is him really?
Just a little thought.

I think you may have stumbled upon something here
We should be blaming ENIC, I doubt Mourinho has got the squad he wanted, but accepted a few of the signings as they were better than nobody.
Mourinho wanted Skriniar and he got a young championship defender with no PL experience instead, he has also been saddled with Doherty who is clearly not good enough for Spurs when we should have been bringing in a top class RB. ENIC never go out and truly improve the squad to the required levels, which is why we always fall short, it doesn`t matter who the manager is.

The season hasn`t finished yet, so why are you so sure Spurs will finish out of the top six this season? If they finish in the top six, you saying Spurs haven`t finished outside the top six since 2009 is going to look a bit silly.

Well thanks for that glorious insight Einstein. Just as none of the Prem goals will mean a thing, but the goals in the Carabou and Europa will if Spurs go on to a win a trophy.
Winnning a penalty shootout against Chelsea could be the most important goals of the season, if Spurs go on to win the trophy.

Just pointing out that the 100* goals we’ve scored this season means very little when a fair chunk of them are against very poor teams, and not enough of them are against better teams in the premier league where they would have counted for much more.
You can try and spin it as much as you want.
