Wolves set traps out of possession ever so well and their counter press is top notch too. Yeah we could have passed the ball better but they all worked their ass of tonight and it's hard to pass the ball well against Wolves. We looked fitter which is good and created some decent chances with quality football.
An away win at Wolves with a clean sheet is always good. Bit of a break now and then we have Arsenal away.
I thought klopp was fair enough in his critique of the team.
when he says not active enough, I beleive this means we were sitting off and making it way too easy for wolves to hit passes and corssfield balls.
when he said the keeper should have done better I think he meant jota got damned lucky that went in.
When he said dirty, I know he meant we just scrapped for 25 mins at the end and offered zero intent to do anything to risk the lead.
Personally I thought kabak was good, he covered in behind phillips massively and let the big man just go compete in the air. There was at least 5 occasions he stepped in to stop disaster. really much improved reading of the game already.
the main thing though is there were massive gaps for wolves to play in. the full backs were advanced by so were the midfield so there was masses of space to pass into but they missed at least 3 good overlaods where they ought to have scored or at least got a good shot in.
