Why would you want to sink without a trace?
What are the subplots there out of interest? Wouldn't the biggest subplot be PSG in the final?

Pep vs Tuchel final.
Last time they played in a final, scoreline ended up 0-0 (4-3 pens)
Identical principles.
Going for the fresh matchups I see
Real Madrid would be nice. The one consistently big team that's always gotten away, looking back I think it's because our peak in the competition coincided with that weird run they had of always getting KO'ed in the last 16 that lasted approx 5/6 years. Any rate, a matchup between us in the CL is long overdue now.
I wouldn't mind Liverpool. That's the best nostalgia draw. Not fresh per say but happened long enough ago to not feel stale (unlike PSG or Bayern would be). Plus in the CL we need a tie breaker, currently 2-2
If we draw Dortmund we have to win, just to shove it down Haaland's throat
Liverpool would still feel stale to me. Give it another 10/20 years lol
Would like to see Bayern vs City over two legs, aside from that I don’t mind who we get. Real Madrid would be a fresh one

Tuchel and Pep have identical principles? Since when?
😂
Tuchel plays 5 at the back. He's been defensive as Jose was so far even though he's got the results.
Gotta confess a Chelsea vs. City final would be fackin epic. That would be the Champions League's equivalent of Cena vs. Orton main eventing WrestleMania
The two teams that "ruined" football enjoying the spotlight while the whole world watches gritting it's teeth & moaning on social media.

With PSG running on the field mid-way through and hitting them all with steel chairs?
I can't wait to see Rudi and Ramos having a go at each other !........in the final maybe !
I'd like to say Porto would be the side anybody would want in the next round, no disrespect to them.
Also, I have seen a comment that Tuchel and Pep have the same principles, they don't. Somewhat similar but not the same.

You're not bright at all, if you think the way Tuchel set-up parellels with Jose Mourinho.
The emphasis on pressing, possession (ball retention & circulation), width (wingers/wingbacks high and wide) and rotation is what makes their principles identical.
Didn't think I would have to expand on that, as it's self-explanatory...
of course I would like Liverpool to advance but they are not up to scratch yet. as for ManC and my honest opinion they are a bit boring, they make 10 passes when they could do it 3.

What principle does Tuchel use to press then?

Defensively the comparison here is Van Gaal, at the moment we're just doing it better than United ever did with him - i.e. the opposition can't score if you hog the ball.
What's assuming is Tuchel's getting results Mourinho strives for without actually trying too

Would need the stadium to be filled with plants instructed to chant "you both suck" and random BS for full authenticity
Would have rather had Liverpool in quarters while they are still out of form
Good draw for us. Think I would’ve preferred playing Dortmund though. Good thing we avoided City/PSG/Bayern.

Yeah...like he's going to be fit anytime this term...
Ended up with the best draw we could have possibly hoped for...
Porto away first & the winners of RM & Pool (away first)
somebody likes us
Draw couldn't have been scripted by us any better than it is. Now just got to make sure that we do the job properly, which of course is the hard part.
In an absolutely perfect scenario the potential semi would've been the winner of a Liverpool/Dortmund Q-F, but besides that literally couldn't of hoped for a better draw.
Pressure's on now, I don't envision us having a better chance to make the final in quite awhile.
