Sure, he can't play every game for 90mins but when he is on the pitch, he is still a top class player.

Great to have around the club and will no doubt continue to inspire those around him.

That's more than a bargain. That's an absolute steal. Has to be one of the best buys for the money in the club's history.

Not much I'm afraid as he probably still has something to offer.

For some reason I thought we paid about £3m for Barisic which is why I never included him (even though he'd be worth every penny of the £3m).

But £1.2m is just ridiculous.

£1.4m for those goalscoring, assisting full backs is madness. 😂

Quoted as 1.75 grezda 1.25 Barasic

Doesn't matter now but Barasic has been a stand out this season

I agree, though Duke's figures illustrate just how much of a lottery transfers are. In this case Rangers seemingly valued Grezda higher? Not always how it works out.

A club needs the right mix of raw material, work environment, development, team & squad dynamic to help make it all click.

Buying anyone for less than 5 mill is a massive risk
Crazy as that sounds

And paying around 2 mill probably has as much chance of working as a free

Blindfolded and chucking darts

A lot of fortune and chance in transfers as well.

Many who seem to stumble at the start win through.

Many Great Hopes crash.

I still find it astonishing that we've done as well as we have by only spending 400k in the midfield.

Also I think the times we have spent big has been worthwhile.
