Ref facked as over a bit, making it look like he was going over to talk to one of our players first, then instead just letting them take the kick.
Poor, poor, poor from Leno though.
Said many times before Leno is very very average. He’s basically Almunia 2.0. Martinez is far superior.
Shame is Arteta likes him so he will play every game, bit like Auba, regardless of form.
You missed the fact it wasn't even a foul

I didn’t see the tackle, was it really not a foul ???
Leno needs to be dropped. Matt Ryan should start the next game
What was that about Martinez

tbh it didnt look like a foul, looked like Saka clearly won the ball however Sky Sports never showed a reply of the so called foul.
If that decision went in our favor they would be showing the so called non-foul over and over again.
That WH Player Bowen must have dived about 3-4 times in the game and they said nothing yet Laca was clearly fouled in the build up to his shot which was cleared off the line. Without being pulled back he would have got a better connection plus he was also taken out be the GK.

Wow, from potential world beater to Almunia 2.0 is less than a season and a half. That's harsh Sammy
"Poor in the air, no sense of command of his defence and now this, the sale of Martinez looks worse and worse and worse.."
-----------------
Funny enough yesterday, for once he actually managed a couple of commanding aerial moments. I have to admit, though I knew selling Emi was the wrong move, I didn't think it'd go this badly for Leno. But then I'd figured the manager would have either quit or at least relaxed a bit on playing out after accounting for his goalie's weakness at it. I dunno, say araound about 20 games ago. But nah Arteta decided to bang the team head against a brick wall instead and stick with it and the mistake it causes, all season.
My criticism surrounding Leno was always in respect to playing as Arteta wants to force him to. I feel bad for him because this is something being doen to him by the manager. He's an absolute bag of nerves and Arteta has his game all over the gaff. Confidence shot to sh!t because he's no doubt constantly worried about making a mistake in a way he never was before.

Yeah, I’ve now had a look at the only camera angle I could find, it looks like he got the ball. 😐
As for the Lacazette foul, I noticed that at the time - the advantage quickly didn’t accrue so he should have brought it back, if Laca had gone down it’s a straight Red...
