Frank Worthington a brilliant very, very skilful player, one of the most gifted from the 1960/70s era...you couldn't help having a smile on your face watching him play, a showman who scored some great goals!
RIP Frank
Very sad, so many of these greats leaving us recently RIP
If you ever want to read his hilarious autobiography book it's called 'One Hump or Two'. Definitely one from a different era.
Saw him speak after dinner a couple of times. Very entertaining, and lived life to the full, probably to the detriment of his footy, because he was a massive talent. Very dodgy line 8n jackets, too
RIP
Great player and party animal, I believe.
A great character who I remember vividly.
RIP big man.
So happy we had a chance to see him at our club. I remember him and Aidan Butterworth parting up, Aidan will be gutted, he really liked Frank.
Best wishes to Frank's family and friends.
Saw him playing for Town at Leeds Road.
Legend.
RIP Frank
