Right physical profile that nuno goes for
Deffo worth bringing him back for pre season
Spiers said a few weeks ago that Nuno has already decided he doesn't want Mir but I find that hard to believe.

Couldn't do any worse than Jose
Yeah he has been very poor after a promising start. Just get the feeling he doesn't fancy it here though in his defence it can't have been much fun playing in our side of late given the paucity of proper chances.
Can't compare the chances Silva gets late in games as being proof he would do any better either as we are generally chasing a game or trying to score late on as opposed to having little intention of going forward in first halves of games, hence the numerous times we haven't mustered a shot first half.
One of the Wolves players that travelled abroad is in isolation because somebody on their return flight tested positive for covid. The player has tested negative since they returned and he may be able to play at West Ham
Two more goals for Rafa Mir last night. The first a well controlled volley. The second a beautiful chip

lot of skill in his second. he knows where the net is. big, well built. seems daft not to try him.

Wet Bum hump Chelsea by 5 goals to 2 at Stamford Bridge. The last time Wet Bum scored 5 or more in a game was in July 2017 in the Asia Trophy when they lost 7-6 to Leicester
Christ, the same chelsea we couldn't even muster a shot on goal against.
Just this minute seen the unbelievable bogsh!te score !
Well done albion
Yep, fair play to them, at least they will have something to look back on from this season as a high point regardless of relegation.
Trying to think now what our highlight is and I honestly can't think of one? Maybe the first six minutes of the season against Sheffield United? A season that will soon be forgotten for us.
As a performance, weird to say but arsenal away is as good as we've played.
Yeah probably right, a back four as well in that game. The switch to back four was when we actually looked like we may entertain a little, shame it was short lived.
Now that's what you call an impact sub!
Jota comes on in the 60th minute, 3 minutes later he puts Liverpool 1 up. 18 minutes later he's in again to put them 3-0 up (Salah got the second)
Jota is looking like a bargain at £40m for Liverpool
Raul Jimenez has caused much excitement amongst some wolves fans online by transferring himself back into his own fantasy football team
Jota is a lot better in the air than you would expect isn't he, scored some very good headers lately
proved to be a bad sale for us, i thought that with neto we could do without him. he's certainly proved that wrong.
great player who's moved to a higher level.
Even before Raul got injured I said on here that I didn’t think there was enough goals in our squad. Neto, Traore and Podence are all very good players in their own way but they aren’t players that make a big impact in the opponents penalty area.
We miss Jota and I’m not saying this with the benefit of hindsight, just repeating what I said when he was sold. Amusingly the same people that disagreed with me then now moan we aren’t a good enough attacking team and complain that I always think everything in the garden is rosy
Ashley Maitland Niles who turned down Wolves in the summer is now saying he wants to leave arsenal in the summer. Some speculation we will go in for him again but can’t see that now we have since signed semedo
Press today linking Wolves with a £15m move for Sheff Utd striker Oli McBurnie as cover for Jimenez. The hard working blades forward has scored 1 this season

Sounds about right. We seem to specialise in bringing in non-scoring strikers. Rather have Rafa Mir back, at least he has proved this season that he knows where the net is.
Be interesting to see whether Mir would come back to us as in effect our back up striker after his success this season. He may well get better offers.
Maybe if Raul struggled for form after his injury he could become our number one. Or possibly we could have a change in set up and play two up front. 352 or 442. At least give us more options
Nuno has confirmed Patricio is available for the game tomorrow and Podence will also return to the squad
Hardly rocket science to suggest we will miss a striker when we replace him with a child who isn't close to ready. For the fee we got it was a great deal, the error is us blowing the money on projects instead of proven quality.
As for Jota, not a bad season, looks sharp but he has also missed three months and injured players are worth zero.
