The Thiago omission is weird, especially after his performances in the last few games. However, I think Klopp wants someone who is going to dribble and push the opposition back, therefore, creating spaces for the new front three. Will be interesting to see if it works.
He has stated recently that keita has been outstanding in training so maybe he feels he deserves the place more. Still a huge surprise to me though.
Thiago has great experience of this competition too, I really hope it’s not a decision that backfires.
Not really the most mobile madrid midfield. Probably want Keita in there for his energy
I think Keita is starting because he can run at their defence far more effectively than Thiago. As has been suggested RM are likely to play ‘not to lose’, so it’ll be up to us to break them down. Keita definitely helps with that.
Madrid lack height but we probably don't have the set piece attackers to capitalise over it.
Hopefully get another Fabinho Masterclass and the win should follow.
Just had my jab. Now sat around with a kind of morbid curiosity as to how my body’s going to react. It’s fascinating how randomly it affects different people.
Come on Admin, sort it out and get this live. It’s the bloody quarter finals!

The younger you are and if you have had Covid, the worse it is.
Immune response is stronger the younger you are, plus if you've had it, your body is ready to fight the vaccine.
I was knocked out for a few days with the oxford one. Dr friends of mine say it is a good thing though. Dreading my 2nd one in around a month.

I’ve heard that the fitter you are the worse it can hit you. I’m definitely not in the young camp, but am in reasonable shape for my age, so we’ll see....
