Maybe crashing out in the QF is also playing with the minds of the players. Otherwise, I just can't understand the beow par performance.
Lol I can’t think of a single example where we have been on the receiving end of a contentious refereeing decision in Europe. So not going to feel bad about tonight
There was a 30 minute period, either side of HT that we looked really knackered and they did all the running.
Possibly because we've played a lot more games this season and had more players on international duty.
I think pre game the two major selection questions were
1 play without a recognised striker or not
2 cancelo at lb or zinchenko
In hindsight not sure either of them were right. They cut through our MF far too easily to say we essentially had 6 men in there
I’ve also never seen us make so many mistakes playing it out from the back
Looked better when Jesus came in, looked much fitter than them too, think that could be what sees us over the line 7 days from now. Foden only gets better, could of had a hat trick on another day before they scored though
Will take that result though given the context of the whole game

Thought it was lucky in the context of their goal should have stood. We should have put the tie completely to bed in that second half though.
Bringing Jesus on definately improved us, maybe if Bellingham's goal had stood Pep would have brought him on earlier.
Let's hope the "real" football team will win in the second leg and will go through...
Financially doped teams are not deserved to win elite competition...
They had a good goal chalked off and I thought Rodri could have had a yellow card for pretending his face was hit, I don't want City players doing that sort of thing.
Got lucky but have been on the receiving end of a few dodgy decisions like Milner's backpass somehow resulting in City having a goal given as offside so maybe these things even out.
Need a goal at least in Dortmund though, they are no mugs, having all the strongest teams in one half of the draw sums up City in the CL.

They had a good goal chalked off and I thought Rodri could have had a yellow card for pretending his face was hit, I don't want City players doing that sort of thing.
Got lucky but have been on the receiving end of a few dodgy decisions like Milner's backpass somehow resulting in City having a goal given as offside so maybe these things even out.
Need a goal at least in Dortmund though, they are no mugs, having all the strongest teams in one half of the draw sums up City in the CL.

Rodri should of been hooked for that pass into the middle they nearly scored from in the first half. Quite telling it was the players without much European experience with us who really let us down tonight 🤷♂️ Maybe Fernandinho is a better shout in the second leg as we should be looking to score first

I thought on tuesday, I was very surprised the penalty was overturned. Minimal contact hadnt been overturned all season if the ref gave it.
Last night Utd pen was very similar amount of contact then both rhodri and bruno went down feigning injury.
Imo either both should be given or overturned. BT reaction to both incidents was embarrassing. Hammered rhodri but praised bruno for basically conning the ref. The reaction to both incidents by the same broadcast was laughable.
Scholes was the only one who admitted it wasnt a pen but did let himself down by praising bruno for his rolling around.
