For me Henderson will start. Reports suggest De Gea is done and apparently fallen out with Ole which means goodbye most likely.
No, Henderson will be the keeper in the league, De Gea for the Europa League.
I think Ole would have seen last nights game as a good opportunity for DDG to get some sharpness back, since he hasn't played in a while.
We will probably learn more about who Ole now thinks is his number 1 next weekend. I think Henderson will start on Sunday and DDG again on Thursday.
Henderson has done nothing to show me he is better than DDG and should be out long term keeper. He commands the area better that's about it.
He commands the area better that's about it.
------------------
That's a pretty big thing though. He's off his line a lot quicker too which helps the defence.
I'm not totally convinced by Henderson yet but I would stick with him for now.
I think his distribution is better too... But I'm also not fully convinced yet.

He’s not better than ddg, he’s worse in all but a few key areas that the others have highlighted from what I’ve seen so far, but he’s deserved his chance, and hasn’t done badly.
I'd stick with De Gea.
Haven't been that impressed with Henderson. He's good, but he's not there yet, IMO, of course.
I look at it this way, Henderson is probably better than DDG was at that age.
Hopefully he will get better. The defence seem more comfortable with him behind them.

A decent shot stopper too to be fair. We don’t seem to be conceding many with him in goals. De Gea has been our best player post SAF but he’s struggled in recent times.
Tbf I haven’t seen much from Hendo to suggest he’s better than Romero, never mind ddg. As vc says he’s young (not sure I agree with the rest of his statement), and has time to get better.

He’s definitely better than Romero. Romero was decent but rarely played in any big games.

There’s a reason Romero was released by Sampdoria after losing his place before joining us. Not saying Henderson is definitely the long term answer but apart from Milan’s equalizer he’s look good since his run in the side started.

Even last night, De Gea looked shaky on that one in the first half that went into the side netting. Had his bearings all wrong. Whether Henderson is the answer remains to be seen, but De Gea can't be relied upon, that's for sure
As long as Henderson is undoubtedly the best at dealing with crosses and corners, he should be first choice especially in the league that lives on crosses and set pieces.

Yes. He is.
Addmitedly some.errors have crept in, but his levels were so high that those errors are magnified.
On top of that, he has a poor defence in front of him, which amy other GK would.struggle in.
Henderson may become the better GK one day, but for now he should be No 2

How does he regain form being dropped?

You show a keen understanding of how the game works, RDD. For example, whenever a player who is out of form is dropped, he must be put back in the team straight away in order to rediscover his form.

Being better at crosses does not mean he is " better than DDG." Surely this is not difficult to comprehend.
