Really good performance, particularly the first half but even in the second we created multiple good chances.
A lot have theorised that TT will eventually make the team play more expansive and perhaps the WBA result has forced his hand as today we played very different to our usual TT set up, with quick incisive one or two touch passing.
I think Kai could well be a good striker in TT’s system and happy to continue to see this experiment. He did decent against Leeds and Everton and followed it up with good performance today. Should have scored more
Pulisic’s best match in ages. If he is back to being a goal threat I really don’t think there’s much argument for Werner to start as Pulisic provides the movement and runs Werner can bring but can additionally pull wide/drop deeper and contribute much more effectively than Werner can.
Kova and Jorgi were excellent and key to how we played today
CHO with the space he got I feel should/could have done better, still got an assist. But I have a feeling RJ with that space would have created more dangerous oppurtunities.
Still a lot of stray passes in midfield...Kova & Jorg, but overall brilliant
That flick over Cahill was my favourite bit of the game, very Gascoignesque, took me back to Euro 96 when he flicked it ove Hendry to score - fantastic bit of skill!!
