Pulisic making those movements to be on the end of crosses at far post or following-in from rebounds, back amongst the goals is a welcome return

With that said, I'm not sure how Tuchel possibly fits Werner back into side...detrimental to our one-touch possession play, fluidity and slick passing moves between the lines.

I think Werner will start today ahead of Pulisic.

Given Werner' struggles against the same opposition last-week and Pulisic looking like the better goalscoring threat at the minute, I'll be astounded if Werner starts today.

I’d personally stick to the front 3 that started against Palace but I think they’ll be a bit of rotation. My guess is Werner starts today and Pulisic starts against City.

The ideal would be to start the match strongly (failed to do that in the first leg) and score a couple more goals then sub Werner in around the hour mark or so, when the match will be stretched.

If Tuchel has the intention of retaining possession and fluidity...there's no justification in starting Werner with his limitations in such a match.
Making Werner work for his starting spot will be rewarding in the end.

It's not about starting the best eleven. At 2-0 up Tuchel may think about saving legs for the FA semi final. Werner may well start to save an injury prone Pulisic.

2 goal lead is not a particularly comfortable margin.
They score one and are right back in the tie, get the game won first with an unassailable lead (I believe 3 goal margin will suffice) then rest players accordingly.

So...we can expect a couple of chances to go three up begging then...

cmf i think you keep deleting my comment by accident.

I said hudson odoi was poor at the weekend most thought
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought he was a bit patchy but I am not keen on James' lack of risk taking in the final third recently.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i think hes been improved last couple games, didn't he set up our third?
but yeah he was frustrating me in terms of taking any sort of sting out of our attacks

Possibly Sheriff. I think Pulisic is our best choice but as I stated I worry that 3 games a week is too much for him with his injury record right now. Rather he started v City
