Jose did not refuse to take training.
Jose is gone thank fack now let's get back to being an entertaining side to watch.
Jose did not make a stand.
Levy not leaving for at least 5 years after yday's announcement. Not worth wasting your energy.
So do we trust Levy and the board to make the next big decision?
Are we getting a manager who will be managing Spurs in this so called super league, OR
A manager who will be managing Spurs in the Europa League (presuming we even qualify)??
Decisions Decisions!
Well done Jose for taking a principled stand against the greed of the owners.
Any minimal respect I had for Levy pretty much evaporated.
With Levy and ENIC around, it will be rinse, repeat, and rinse again
A few of us have been saying this for a while now. ENIC have come to the end of the road, there is nowhere for them to turn. Sacking Poch and bringing in Mourinho was idiotic and a foreseeable car crash. Levy lacks foresight when it comes to footballing matters. He’s a businessman and should stick to just that, the business side of things. He needs a Director of Football or some sound advisors to correctly make decisions for him because he really doesn’t have a clue.
I think Levy has someone lined up, id get Arry back for the remainder of the season.
Next Tottenham manager odds: Julian Nagelsmann favourite to succeed Jose Mourinho.

I'm finding it difficult to care that much. I thought I would be delighted with Jose leaving, but I just feel completely flat and depressed. The ESL has trumped everything in my mind.

I'm feeling pretty much upbeat about the whole situation if I'm honest. Apart from the SL that sucks.

Imagine after Friday nights draw with Everton if someone had told that by Monday morning Levy will have announced that we have guaranteed CL football every season, a £350m windfall and that her sacked Jose. It’s crazy what has happened in the last 24 hours and, on the surface of it, very good for the club.
And yet it all sits very uneasy, because this is about more than just THFC, it’s about football as a whole in this country.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I really couldn't care about guaranteed CL football if it's not merited and won fairly. The idea that we just get it constantly because we're one of the richest clubs in the world is nonsense. This season, Leicester and West Ham have been miles ahead of us. The idea that they wouldn't get in and we would is such anti-competition nonsense and deserves all the ridicule it gets.
As I said, I'm not even very happy about Mourinho leaving. I find myself on his side if he did indeed take a principled stand against the greed and self-interest of the owners. Whatever you think of him, he is a football man.
I would find it incredibly difficult to support a Tottenham team in a competition like that. I'm sure I won't be the only one. I'm sure the powers-that-be don't care, but if enough fans vote with their feet, the players might start to question it.
The pandemic has probably precipitated this, as there have been no fans in the ground but the interest has largely remained. I guess the owners have though - we have them over the barrel any which way, let's exploit that.

Until Spurs come out with a statement saying 'we got it wrong, we hold our hands up, it was a bad idea', I will think much less of the club. And getting an exciting young manager in won't change that.

Unpleasant feelings over this, no doubt. However, you can't take it away from Levy the amount of hard work he's put in for Spurs to be even mentioned along side those clubs. Job done as far he's concerned.
I'll continue to support the club, owners come and go. History, heritage. Far more important.
Anyone see Ssn just now? Explosive stuff from an un named board member from the big 6. Not a civil but nuclear war! The riches on offer from Saudi and another country are so big they are not fussed about leaving the
prem and want the players to play less. Not fussed if they are banned from international football.
I trust people going to the cup final will do their bit. There needs to be huge discontent shown to the owners and the ESL. Banners everywhere.

I’ve read from numerous sources, that each club is guaranteed £3billion to compete, in the super league..
We can’t be left behind...it may not be completely ethical.... but... as someone else said... £3billion & guaranteed champs league type football every season! 😆
