Long post obviously but thought I'd share the highlights from this insider piece

Mourinho has done out done himself at Spurs

No surprises there.

Let's move on now, just hope Levy doesn't make another spur of the moment brain fart hiring like the last and others in the past, let's get the right manager how ever long it takes!

It was never going to work. Don't want to put anybody's nose out of joint but Mourinho needs a top squad of players to do anything - and even then, there's no guarantee. And even if he does manage to use that bunker mentality to get a good season out of a team, they are just usually so spent mentally that his teams drop off after that.

Spurs don't have a world class squad but they do have some top class players who can lead the team if managed correctly - a balancing act carried out to perfection by Poccetino for so long. Mourinho's aggressively confrontational style, paired with his lack of class and awful brand of football were never going to wash.

He's still laughing all the way to the bank though - 15 million more for the coffers.

I always thought Mourinho is the master at getting big long contracts to know he is getting sacked a few months later. How he does it all the time is amazing.

Daniel Levy and José Mourinho disagreed over #thfc summer transfer plans. Daniel Levy wanted Harry Winks and Dele back in the first-team but José Mourinho wanted the pair sold. [The Telegraph]

Levy the caaant rated Winks and Dele. The new manager could be stuck with these two average players. Both saw off Poch and Jose.
