Unfortunately us Legacy fans can boycott all we want, the clubs don't care. They have their overseas fans. I think the pandemic has pushed this idea forward. Clubs have worked out they can survive without us.

Even if Arsenal and the other clubs will still have the support and even if the people.who boycott are in the minority, I do believe a stand is still justified and would still mean something

Not at all.

It was all doomed from the start. Right from the moment the clubs started making more money from TV than from matchday tickets, beer and pies.

If anything, the prawn sandwich brigade helped delay the inevitable by allowing the club chairmen to keep pretending they cared about matchday income.

Clubs may have overseas fans but they don't generate any real income from it. Overseas TV rights are still less than what they earn from the premier league.

This all started by the oligarchs and middle east investors. That started an 'arms race' of sorts that did not reflect the economics of the game. Now they are desperate to somehow keep the gravy train going by trying to carve a bigger portion of a smaller pie.

Perez pretty much blaming ‘young people’ for having limited attention spans.

Oh and COVID, of course.

Because the clubs were all being so well run until that struck...

F1 has done really well to reinvent itself. Football needs to do the same.

Perez is a dinosaur if he believes young people will en masse come back to football in an age where that's no longer the only form of entertainment:
-E-sports is up and coming and mostly free to watch AND play yourself.
-If you are creative, you are no longer bound to Lego, but there are many ways to create stuff/content and even make money off of it if you are good/unique/entertaining.

And the most funny thing is, football has itself to blame (rising ticket cost, the food/drink/merch prices, transport), so nah fack 'em and his hatefull 12...
