Bit harsh on Swansea and Cardiff?
It'll become two different games, sort of like rugby union and league, where no one knows the difference between the game they play but it's different nonetheless. Or like wrestling, where there's different federations, players can't compete in one if they're registered in another, and they're a judas cvnt who becomes a whipping boy for the rest of their contacts if they decide to jump ship.
Yeah Porto and Ajax won’t keep selling their best players will they - you will not get a unified approach

They can still sell their players, just not to the dirty dozen and whoever is in this ESL
No players, players of quality, no product = death
Absolutely there should be a straight out ban on transfers to them and they will be stuck. Players wouldnt want to be stuck in a squad with no chance of playing and no chance of going anywhere else
In the short term it might at least slow things down, but if the ESL looks like being a success, all you’d get is players of non-ESL clubs running down their contracts, and leaving for free.
In the long term, ESL clubs will be able to plow tonnes of money into their academies.
Plus they’ll still trade players between themselves.
As I say, not selling them players now would be merely a minor inconvenience.
Yeah, good luck with that players would just go to court and buy themselves out their contract.
Also, they have all produced from their academies and each have at least one homegrown player among their star men.
Barca are literally known for having an amazing academy.
