Evatt on Gilks:

"He’s fine. He just milks it a bit every now and again but we’ve given him a cuddle and he’s alright now."

3 Saturday's at 3 to go.
That's plenty of time to fit in a few more twist and turns it's the only way we know isn't it.

ESL my AR5E that didn’t last long they should all be docked points for ungentlemanly conduct and bringing the game into disrepute.

That was our last night game of the season and we managed another win and three points. Now we concentrate on what is the most important game of our season against Morecambe on Saturday, who seems to be in fine form. They had a 3-0 win last night to keep up their high scoring results on track.

After playing us, they have Walsall away and Bradford at home, to play and we have Exeter at home and Crawley away. On paper, it would seem that Morecambe has the easier fixtures but of course, they have to beat us first. As we are finding it difficult to score more than one goal per game, we have to hope that our forwards have a rush of blood and go on a goal-fest and that our defence is really geared up for the game, and on song to keep another clean sheet, for the clash of the Titans.

Of course, Ian Evatt could always try to improve our goalscoring record by employing Miller alongside Doyle. If not in the starting line up, perhaps he could think about bringing in on early in the second half.

Bring it on! It won't be easy but nothing ever is for BWFC.

Time to think long and hard about Saturday's team sheet.
Gilks is it kick or twist I saw a hard bump at the top of the knee. John looks crock and with Sarc waiting to play what will we do will it be something special, go with the old experienced heads or the magic hat.
How many points will we need from the final three

Sarc hasn't played in a competitive game for a few weeks. he won't be match fit. I would put him on the bench and use him if we need him in an emergency or unless we are winning by a clear three goals (some hope of that to happen).

It will be interesting to see if Evatt uses Miller. He didn't bring him off the bench last night. Did he rest him with the intention of playing him on Saturday or did he think that the other midfield options were better suited to the game? Whatever his thinking was, we won so no complaints.

It just worries me that we don't score many goals and we may need more than one on Saturday. Play him from the start or use him as a sub? I don't know the answer but I think we might need him on the pitch at some stage and I wouldn't like us to go one or two goals down in the first half of the game.

I don't know how the players are feeling but I can feel the first hint of nerves kicking in when my thinking turns towards this weekend.
Somewhere calming me I have this image of Harry being our hero he'll know what it means and what's required.

Let's hope that you are right Pasty. However, we also need the rest of the team to be heroes if we are going to win the game. I reckon that this is the really big game of our season. Win this game and I think we will be fine. I don't even want to think about what happens if we lose.

We mustn't forget it's 3 games to go the best option has to be win them all.
I like this option.

A very sweet goal Pasty.

Yes, three wins is the way to go. I only hope that we can win them all. Evatt is fine with 1-0 wins. We all would be but it isn't easy on the heart or the nerves. I would be delighted if we had a cushion of an extra goal or two. However, it doesn't seem to be our way of winning games. Let's hope that changes for the better tomorrow.

I see the Sarc is fit and ready to start tomorrow. As I stated in an earlier post, I would be a little worried that he might not be quite sharp enough with his lack of game time, but what do I know? I don't care what Evatt decides as long as we win.

Not long to wait now.
