Desperate reply Eeyore. Administration was years before we won the Premier League. Or were you referring to our League One title? Or Championship title? Please clarify.
Better than the title of worst Premier League team in history though.
Rooney may well be sacked at the end of the season, whether or not Derby stay up.

He's going to need the pay off to cover Coleen's legal bill
Who are these clubs? Are they our rivals?

We laugh, but one look at the remaining fixtures will show you that Derby aren't going down. The Brian Clough trophy will still be going strong next season.
Derby have fallen into the same "non significant lower Championship level" club as Forest.
Given what we've just lived through there is a more serious point here, although I apologise for changing the tone of the thread.
Derby and Forest aren't challenging because they can't compete. It's been too long for them without PL revenue or parachute payments.
If you look at the teams coming up it's Norwich and Watford. Bournemouth could also make it through the play offs. In other words the teams that just went down.
I'm not sure that reflects well on the current state of the game and the structure of its finances.
You say that Joby, but it’s not always the case by any means that teams that have just gone down go straight back up again. It took Leeds years. Sunderland and Portsmouth are in the lower leagues. It took us ages too.
Part of the problem for Forest and Derby as far as I see it is that they both need investment but keep putting their faith in the wrong people. The City Ground looks like a hole, for instance. But an arguably even bigger problem is this odd obsession over the Brian Clough trophy whereby they both define themselves by each other instead of reaching upwards. Their whole culture seems set up to root each other in the past. I reckon the best thing for them could be for the other to get relegated. That way they might start thinking about themself more instead of comparisons to each other. But maybe that’s an unfair outsider’s view.
Actually Dunge you’re right. The Brian Clough Trophy?
It’s a competition locked out to only 2 competitors. Why aren’t Hartlepool, Brighton and Leeds allowed in this competition?
That’s elitism right there!
You’re only singing your winning.... Go down sheep.
12 points was it in the Prem?
Rotherham are winning, Mattock with the assist!
I don’t agree with that Joby (shock). Forest and Derby aren’t challenging for promotion because they aren’t well run.
A team needs to build around a manager and a clear plan, and give that project time. It seems that those two clubs have been throwing short term plans in place hoping for success. It’s backfired badly.
Now, they do need investment, but they need that to come with a clear plan. 2-5 years.
We were ve lucky our owners found Pearson abs backed a medium term strategy after trying out the instant success formula with Sven and failing!
We can even let them off the Sousa mistake!

I can't believe Joe Mattock is still playing, I'd completely forgotten about him! A mardy sod as I recall.

Didn’t JG hold him up as a reason Pearson should be sacked because he couldn’t abide him?

Wiki describes a mattock as a tool with a stout head used for chopping. Fair enough.
