He's the best manager and therefore goes to the best clubs. It's hardly breaking news.

Or is the the best manager because he has the deepest pockets? Let’s see what he could do with a Villa, Leeds or Wolves.

Why have I seen this argument before about 1001917 different times
Pep, the ultimate chequebook manager. He and City are part of what is so wrong with the modern game.
Fuming over here, the Man City leaving the ESL is the worst thing to ever happen to me - I will never get over it

But rejoice, the fans have kept the status quo in place
The lack of self awareness by Chelsea and City fans is hilarious.
The crux of the anti ESL argument is that qualification should be achieved on merit yet nothing either of these teams have won in recent years is down to anything other than iffy oil money.
The irony of Martin Tyler celebrating this "great victory for all proper fans" while commentating on a Chelsea game seems completely lost on him.

Of course it did. Arteta is the luckiest manager on the planet. He got a job at Arsenal just because he was Pep’s bloody assistant. Shows how revered Pep is in football.
If Pep is that great a manager come to spurs nad win us the league.!
Gurantee he couldn't.

No he doesn’t. Firstly, he has Mansours individual wealth, not the entire nations. Secondly, since Guardiola joined us, the funds that Mansour has put in isn’t even in the top five in terms of owner investment and has totalled zero for the last four years.
Once you’re at or near the top, it’s money within the game that’s the big discrepancy.
