Totally agree , not only do we have to pay sky high monthly charges but we also have to subscribe to three different providers Sky , BT and Amazon.
You actually pay good money to watch Arsenal?
Guffaw.
In terms of TV one of the worse aspects is you need about 4 different subscription services, which are all equally expensive and are often paying for other channels you might not ever view. Would be good if it was more customisable, like sky or Amazon for example should do a package where it’s just sport, and no access to any other content at a reduced fee to their usual subscription. Or at least do a pay per view, then could buy the subscription that most suits your overall viewing needs, then pay individually for games your team is involved in that your other subscription doesn’t show. But knowing tv companies the pay per view will be about £30. Make it £5 and I reckon you’d get much more people paying that every so often in favour of having to find dodgy streams

You can do that through NowTV.
BT and sky have got monopoly on this game. So the good thing is they won’t be paying much higher for next bidding. Streaming is the only competition, and if they’re good with their costs, this can upset the system
I actually have sympathy for you lads. You have to pay for BT if you want to watch the european football.
Over here all champions league and Europa league is on free to air terrestrial TV

If every premiership game was live, including games kicking off at 3pm, there would not be many complaints about spreading subscription costs across 3 broadcasters, it would still be cheaper than a footy session ticket.
What annoys me is the level of choice international broadcasters provide their audiences compared to England and at a fraction of the cost too. Outrageous!

Yeah, here in Australia it's the equivalent of about £60 for the whole season, every CL, PL and Europa game is available

I envy you guys!
I think the theory is that for those who live in the UK, they assume that many supporters won't actually bother to attend the games live if they were all broadcast simultaneously live on TV on a single platform, as cheap as chips.
This would turn the Premier League into a TV programme and not a spectator sport.
