Don’t do this to yourself. He’s gone. We need to move on to someone else.

Rodgers for me although not sure he’ll leave Leicester!

I’d read that the pay off is much cheaper, at 5m, same as it was when he left Hoffenheim. 30m is wide of he mark.

Doesn’t matter whether the fee is £30m or a tenner and a scotch egg, he was never coming to Spurs - I don’t know why fans do this to themselves, he’s the hottest managerial property in Europe, when have we ever pushed the boat out to reel in a big fish? Never. Cut price Levy will be looking at cheap managers like Marcelino or freebies like Howe - guys that will be so grateful for the opportunity that they’ll just do what they’re told and smile while doing it.

Errrr.... Jose? He was a pretty big fish!

TBH it really doesn’t matter. We have had the “young progressive” manager, didn’t back him and won fact all. We then moved to the “trophy Pig” to get us over the line, didn’t back him and won fack all.

As a fan you could walk away from Spurs for 5 years, come back in 2026 and absolutely NOTHING will have changed.

The events of last week tell you everything you need to know about the state of English football.... Chelsea and City dont need the ESL given the wealth of their owners, United & Liverpool’s owners simply dont understand the dynamics of the English game and Spurs & Arsenal will do everything to protect the bottom line as cheaply as they possibly can without having to rely on sporting competition that simply doesn’t work in their business model.

Sad Times..... RIP Spurs

think its tough to say we didnt back either manager.

Poch was handicapped by the Stadium build but we spent £90m in his last summer, Levy came in and we spent a further 60m in the January window and then the following summer was a bit upset by the pandemic but we still spent £65m plus Bale and Vince on loan

Lot of talk yesterday about Scott Parker ???
Bottom line with this, yet again, is Levy's unwillingness to spend on the playing staff. Yes he may be able to get a big name, but none of these guys will come to Spurs simply because Levy won't give them the funds they want / need to go into the market.
