who the f*** is this Shandy dude,.........
FYI.... Sandy is an old time Spurs fan who is getting stupider with age.
He thinks Spurs winless seasons are due to Pochettino and Mourinho would fix all that.
I would expect any sane fan to disagree.
Sandy adds a level of amusement to the discussion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
LOL you are older and stupidier than me Ted. That you think you are not, shows you how old you really are.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sandy, did you not say the players were all very good and Poch was the problem.
You had best squad and would win league with Jose.
Now you say it is nothing to do with the manager, it is the players that are the problem
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is where Sandy lost the respect of most of the board
He told us all our squad was one of the best and poch was the problem and Jose would basically prove it
Then Jose struggled and he changed tune to it was the players fault ( which poch had already said we needed a painful rebuild)
I like his positivity and passion for Spurs but the weather changes less than his opinions
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I said a lot can change in 18 months. The players are now clearly to blame. Jose was not completely blameless, but he has a CV to die for, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Meanwhile the previous manager to Jose is struggling at his financially doped club, with some of the best players in the world at his disposal, so I think I got that one right.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On December 7 you said
‘I am struggling to think really of where Spurs will lose a game in the Prem right now. Watertight defence, world class forwards. Difficult to think of a better squad right now. ‘
Once Spurs hit their easier part of the season, I expect the gap at the top to really open up.
Anyway the season is going much as I expect, I said pre season that I thought Spurs would win the Prem this season. Nothing I have seen so far has made me change my mind. Most consistent team in the Prem, unbeaten since the very first game, beating all the so called good sides with a bit to spare.
This is starting to turn into one epic season for Spurs, as predicted. Team still in first gear, and once they really hit their straps, probably in the New Year, then they will be gone and over the hill for good.
Don`t say I didn`t give prior warning about this season, and the way it was going to pan out.
Spurs players are finally showing their true potential, after underachieving for so long. With a serial winner in charge, they are finally rolling up their sleeves, and showing some bottle, especially in the big games.’
Then you lost every important game v top ten sides for two months!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have since changed my mind, that was months back. Spurs have regressed since they sacked Jose. PSG have regressed since they hired Poch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair enough.
I thought PSG were great in first half v city
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And morphed into a typical Spurs team under Poch second half, where they never turned up. They were awful second half, and kept trying to play out from the back and losing the ball.

Fair point Sandy. They were poor second half.
Being a veteran at WHL, can you tell me what season segregation started? When did Paxton become the home end and Park lane the away end?
maybe it wasnt spurs players
