5aside -> i once smashed a left footed shot into the top corner from my half. i was aiming for this on the other team. missed him by a good few inches but hit the back of the net. i celebrated in his face though
Chipped the keeper in 5 aside goals, while he was actually standing on the line.
On monday after sprinting half the pitch while skinning 4 defenders I got to the left of the box and from an acute angle, lobbed the keeper with a belting drive. Dont know how I did it or why I even tried it
Most embarrising moment was when the oppisistion keeper fumbeled and from two yards put it wide
overhead vollied bycycle kick from the corner of the area, smacked the back of my head on the hard pitch rendering me unconscous, luckily my mate saw it other wise i would have been none the wiser
Playing against our rivals in a local cup (only 2nd round) and there is this gobby little thing playing left back for their team. 2 footed challenges that would certainly break a leg (And did break my mates leg the derby before)... Corner floats in and I somehow try an over head kick. Connect with it and it smashes into the goal and as I did it I kicked the gobby guy in the head and knocked him out proudest day of my life!
all my best moments have been volleys or long range curlers. too many to remember any specific ons.
seriously, if i didn't have any power i would be awful.
Keep em coming guys! I just remembered another one of mine...
5 aside - Was in my own half and had a injury on my right knee and was only restricted to certain movements. From within my own half on the left side facing the sun I wrapped my right foot round and bent it right into the top right corner!
Funny because I didn't see the ball go in because I was in agony at the pain in my right knee and I was blinded by the sun!
Back when I was in high school playing as a right back for the first time among people I didn't know. A ball came towards me and I was running up to it to hoof it clear with my toe but I missed and it hit the side of my foot and went outside
I've been scarred ever since

Cushioned backpass header...that Admin1 in goals just flapped and let fly in.
I love playing against people who are older than me because being a right back their easy to close down and easy to get past.

I think that I was unlucky (all modestey aside) to become a footballer for Ross County, who are my local team (the one that destroyed Celtic). Although I was at a match once and a player walked up to the crowd and started crying and was substituted afterwards, thats the funniest thing Ive seen at a match.
Played in nets once in five a side and just after switching to go outfield, I for no apparent reason jumped up and slapped a ball away in midfield. There was no danger or anything - I have no idea what I was thinking. Got sin-binned for 5 minutes.

i do remember a free kick of mine. i spent about 40 seconds placing it, then about 10 seconds judging the angle.(this is actually quite a lot of time, so people were booing me). then i took 5 massive steps backwards so i could do a roberto carlos.
in my defence, my long shots are beast, and my teammates were hopeful.
it ended up going out for a throw. without deflection.
I had a game of 5s where i went on a mazey run down the right that even included one of those snidey bouncing the ball off the wall as you run round the other side of the guy efforts. I ended up in the corner and tried a back-heel, at which point my ham-string went.
Think we ended up scoring because the opposition keeper was too busy laughing at me rolling around in the corner to make a save.
I have two. When I was in highschool, we were involved in a pretty rough game, the whole match I was getting the better of the player I was marking. He could not get past me no matter how hard he tried. He started getting rough, trying to wind me up, touching me in places but I didn't crack, just kept destroying him when he got the ball.
The final whistle blew and he kicked the ball in frustration, much to his amusement - it hit me right up the face knocking me out for some seconds. When I came round, I started sprinting around the pitch looking for him but couldn't see, when I came round he was half way up the hill and into the team bus.
The second again is me in pain, this time playing for an amateur team when I was around 17. A ball was hoofed from their defence, I watch it brilliantly as it came down, without taking my eye of the ball which unfortunately the other guy in centre midfield did, to my discomfort. As the ball came down my right leg went out to volley it and he missed the ball completely and kick me full blast in the 'inbetweeners'. I have never felt so much pain in my life and could not move. I wanted to get up and strangle the guy but just couldn't do it. I got subbed off to add to the embarrassment, as I couldn't continue.
A few months later my cartilage in my knee twisted and I had an operation, with two cameras inserted and a piece cut out from the back. I have been playing weekend matches for fun but nothing serious, as my knee just can't handle it. 17 .
I've scored loads of 5aside goals, but my one and only 11-a side goal to date is by far the best, I lobbed the keeper at the far post with a half volley from 25 yards
I do still play Anfield Rap

5 a side game years ago, we broke and i was up front the ball was clipped in the air (i was right side of the goal) it travelled diagonal over my left shoulder and i met it on the volley with my right foot...Bang..GOAL!!! top right corner and keeper didnt move.
From then on i was known as FOWLER!!! nice,eh..
I have another, 11 a side this time; before the game we were warming up and practicing shooting, the ball was crossed from the left and with my back to goal i managed a great overhead kick and looked behind (when i was in the floor) to see the ball nestle in the bottom left corner...AWESOME, but; ONLY 1 PERSON SAW IT!!!!!.
1 more (); 11 a side again, warming up again and the ball was passed to me at speed of the ground, i thought id let the ball go past me and be clever and use my heel to knock it in the air.....however, as i tried this (and i have never managed this ever again..it was sheer luck, no doubt!!) i hooked my leg up and....CAUGHT THE BALL between the back of my leg (betwen the knee joint).....tekkers or what!!! Complete fluke tho, but to anyone watching it looked awesome..ha,ha.
Oh, last one; 11 a side playing right wing this time, had the ball in the left wing position (dont ask why i was there!!) and had an opponent in front of me, dummed him and went past; one more player in front then i had a clear run on goal, went right foot (i am right footed), left foot, right foot little shimey and back to the left foot went past him...crowd cheered (about 15 of em..huge, eh!) then i lost balance and fell flat on my face ...the crowed ALL burst out laughing!!! Would of been great if i would of kept balance..never mind.
Bit long i know.
