Hopefully it's complete bollox! I want Southgate in charge of us even less than Sol Campbell and the lasagna chef.
Ralf Rangnick has just gone upto second favourite. He's the guy who mentored Klopp, Tuchel, Hasenhuttl, et el and one of the first proponents of the Gegenpress
Huge if true
The Bild is reporting we’ve offered the position to Rangnick.
I reckon it will be him if we can’t get Rodgers, I can imagine Levy was trying to get Nagelsmann and Rangnick together but will just try for Rangnick now.
Ted, did the see further articles on this? Southgate said the only way he would move jobs if he lost his current one
May long he stays where he is
I won't mind Rangnick tbh... Had oodles of coaching experience
Rangnick knowing how to spot talent is a bonus, would help with recruitment and hopefully put an end to signing rubbish players

I wonder who is advising Levy?
I'd be happy with Rangnick in terms of his brand of football and, hopefully, eye for a player, as we know Hitchen is a waste of space.
My concern with him is, if you look at his history, he seems to do very well when first going to clubs then falls away in his 2nd season and either gets sacked or quits.
I'd be delighted with him replacing Hitchen, I'm just worried that as manager, he'd initially be excellent, get our hopes up, then we just tail off again.
Rodgers as manager and Rangnick as DoF, that would make up for Levy’s mess
Rangnick is 62 years old and his list of major managerial honours amounts to a German Cup, as well as a handful of other minor cups, including an intertoto cup, which is hardly a glittering CV.
You also have to ask why he has never managed outside of Germany or one of the top German clubs. Bringing him in would be a major risk imo.
Seems like Potter is the only option
Hasn’t he recently moved into executive positions? As DoF I think he’d be great... not manager though
Potter + Rangnick would be the best outcome

Potter and the chamber of cockerel
I like the Wolfsburg manager Oliver Glasner. Has turned Wolfsburg into an exciting team who are now getting in to Europe. Very similar style to Poch.
Whoever we get, it would be a good idea to have someone like Mason on the coaching staff with a view for the future

No i did not see the follow-on info.
Does sound like Levy made an offer tho!
Another rumor surfacing is that Levy is trying to get Rodgers.......but why on earth he would leave Leicester to work under Levy ...

The way all of our supporters wanted Mourinho out, I thought Spurs were going to get the pick of the world`s best managers. What went wrong?
Easy to just say sack Jose, but without a good replacement, what was the point?
Same with Levy, lots want him gone, but have yet to hear anybody come up with a suitable replacement.

Why are you still treating Levy like a saint then? The fans didn't make the decision to get rid of Jose, Levy did. They weren't even allowed in stadiums to vent their anger at him.
Apparently it's all the fans' doing and Levy can do no wrong. Unbelievable!

Not that I think it'll happen but Leicester could still miss out on top 4 and last night's result won't have helped. It might be more tempting for Rodgers to leave for us if they don't get CL football. I'm not sure how I'd feel about that though, a manager who twice bottled it coming to us.

Is there a Rodgers football style? Another one that doesn't convince me that he is what we need. Spurs need a full transplant with a club ethos reinstalled. This isn't Rodgers for me.
