Rashford or Pogba?

Would say Pogba is the one on form at this moment in time.

A half each

I’ve been thinking, to accommodate both, Ole goes,
4-1-4-1. But maybe that’s good for thought for next season.
To your question OP, it has to be Pogba.

Most impressive player along with Kane, is definitely Pogba.

He is a truly talented midfielder, and a giant of a man.

Suppose it depends on the opposition but the majority of teams sit deep against us and for those games it’s Pogba all day right now.

On the left? Would go for a fully fit Rashford. I emphasise fully fit though because he hasn't been for quite some time. Needs a good break - won't be easy with the Euros but if it means missing the start of next season so be it.

Should be used very sparingly between now and the end of the season. We essentially have 6 dead rubbers between now and the Europa final. He could easily sit out at least 3 of those.

I'd play them both at RW and no one on the left just to confuse the opposition

Depends on the opposition, but in most cases rashford. Take either out and you lose something

True. Personally would play both the majority of the time. I think Ole is overplaying the McFred partnership.

“ Personally think Rashford should never play on the right.”

Greenwood certainly looks more comfortable on the right, however rashford is a player in moments, always has and always will be, and he hasn’t had too many of those on either flank of late.

He’s not fully fit but he’s far far better on the left. Rarely contributes to goals when on the right.

Pogba right now. Rashford is less reliable at the moment.

I'd prefer to play Rashford out of position on the right to accommodate an in-form Pogba on the left based on what we've seen in recent matches.

By the way, I thought Pogba was an absolute beast in the recent match against Spurs in the 2nd half. One of his best performances in a United shirt.

Pogba isn't a left winger. He came inside the whole time the other night. Played really well like but he wasn't playing as a winger was he?

Rashford is easily our best option out there. Obviously there are concerns over his fitness.

Pogba should really be playing in the centre which is where he was most of the time Vs Roma anyway.

More so than Pogba. Pogba is more like Mata and floats inside.

And as somebody else said above just because it worked the other night doesn't mean it will everygame.

Pogba really should be playing in his best role as should Rashford.

Rashford played on the right and Pogba on the left vs Roma this week and we pasted them.

So it obviously works.

Our two best matches of the season were against Spurs and Roma. What do they have in common ? Pogba playing in an advanced role. Almost all the actions leading to the goals we scored in those two matches were initiated by Pogba. With Pogba in an advanced role, we are a different team.

I vaguely recall some people saying a few seasons ago that to get the best out of Pogba, he needs to be playing on the left as he did for Juventus.

The DM role doesn't suit him and he would be operating in the same space as Bruno if he were played in an AM role. I'm not saying that he should always play on the left but he can be devastating when he does play there.

Think the advantage to having luke Shaw playing so ridiculously well is that you can have pogba 'play on the left'

The answer to this question is this...

....Rashford....Cavani....Greenwood

..............Pogba.........Bruno

Still waiting for the day Ole stops playing a deep pivot and gives both Pogba and Bruno the freedom to play in the final 3rd centrally.

A good DM this summer should aid that.

Perhaps kfc, but we might find that bruno and pogba don’t work so well like that.
