No Tanguy two games in a row.....
Other thank that I don’t mind the line up
Midfield is balanced. No idea what you’re on about

I think someone needs to explain to Mason how a straw works 😅 I did chuckle seeing him tilting the water bottle.
In terms of the team, always going to take a while to get used to the shackles being off. I think the team looks far more promising than most teams under Jose, just cos u could tell they were worried about taking risks towards the end of his stint at the club.

Passing is crisper, players willing to carry the ball, higher press. Definite improvements. Hopefully the city game was just that - a game gainer the best team in world football ATM.
As for Ace’s question, I don’t know what else he could have done - I’d like to have figured out a way for N’Dombele to get in, but I prefer him deeper, and GLC and PEH works.
On form Son doesn’t deserve to start - but he’s been good today
Some fans are never happy. Criticising our 29 year old caretaker manager for a selection and lineup that makes total sense.
The only selection I dont like is Dier

Mason had little to no time to make an impact, in terms of his ideas, in that amount of time. Especially against a squad like the one City have. Jose needed to go but the timing was awful. Hate the guys football but didn't make sense to fire him when they did, unless Levy was worried he would win it! Would've made firing him more difficult and probably more expensive.
Jose was never a good fit for spurs long term though.

I don’t think anyone denies he had to go. Could sit here all day and debate the timing.
However, I am seeing some changes already under Mason. I don’t think it would be too hard though for anyone to make positive changes. We’re a tram of attackers - so attack.
But I think individuals are gaining in confidence already.
Agree totally. And seeing Bale look a real asset was something Jose didn't seem keen to accommodate.
At the cost of the loan it's frustrating in a way seeing him come to life now but at least things look far more positive. It's like watching football again not chess.

Very strange
Bizarre that Winks & Bergwijn get on ahead of NDombele & Moura...
Would still have NDombele ahead Dele Ali also
Strongest line up & subs for remaining fixtures
How many times did Winks give the ball away, when he came on... shocking!!

Well at least we can beat a relegated club!
I certainly would have picked NDombele ahead of Alli.
Perhaps a 4-3-3 with Lo Celso, Hojbjerg Ndombele in the center would have been stronger.
But as things turned out, it didn't matter.

Lol. Crime of the century hey
Can’t read too much into this result... Sheff Utd are seriously lacking in quality...
Leeds away, will provide a much sterner test
Still... 4-0 is a good result, whoever you play in the Premier League

Didn't much matter what Winks did. Too late to lose the game.
We beat Suffering United anyways.
Now then....how about top four???!

I think we all know top four is all but gone, but it is nice to at least still be in the conversation. 100% win rate in the league under Mason.
I’d be happy if we sold Ndombele, he’s too lazy for my liking

Easy to say after a 4-0 win without him playing. Usually, our MF is diabolical when he’s out. Nobody else has his technical or ball retention ability.
