This means they’ll sack Arteta, and have a shot at getting someone who’ll make them better. While he’s been in charge I’ve not been bothered about them, hope they don’t make a smart appointment this time. Also, unless Levy gets a shift on they’re gonna be in the same market as us competing for managers - not good when we already seem to be struggling to shortlist anybody.

Yeah I think Arteta is doing a great job!

Frankly any decent manager would have a hard time choosing between us and them, except for one fly in the ointment....... Daniel Levy.
The choice will depend simply upon the offer......what each club's chairman is willing to do for the incoming candidate manager.
Do you think Levy will offer more than the Arsenholes? ........

You know it, I know it, we all know that Arsenal have been going backwards at a a much quicker pace than Spurs, and for a lot longer..

But, irritatingly, come tomorrow morning, the Media, Sky, Keown etc, will all be back to talking about Arsenal as if they are still a top team, with a manager who is, somehow, progressive and a clear keeper.

Yet at the same time, will continue to use Spurs as their daily punch bag.

Like it or hate it Arsenal have consistently won trophies even when they are s h1 t. Levy’s spurs have no interest in winning trophies as their record shows. Just ripping off fans.

Are you kidding? Of course they'll sack him. Not because they love the club and they're desperate for silverware but the revenue lost from being out of Europe completely will make the owners sit up and take notice.

My worry is that they'll get rid of him in the next few weeks meaning we'll both be scrambling around for a manager. I've got a horrible feeling Levy will gamble again on a big name and they'll get Potter in from under our noses. I won't be happy with anyone other than Potter or Rodgers at this stage.

There's a reason they call him xGraham Potter. His expected goals are through the roof. That's a sign that Brighton should be much higher than they are. If we're looking for someone in the mould of Pochettino that will likely be at the club for the long haul, he's our man. I can't believe there are fans that don't want him. I'll be gutted if he goes to Arsenal.

The people that don't rate him tend to be the ones that backed Jose to win us trophies here and be a success. Maybe that tells you something?

This is grate.

Though not as good as xGreenwood, when he was smashing in everything from ridiculous positions.

It's probably more appropriate for Potter. His are blindingly obvious xG opportunities whereas Greenwood tends to finish the ones you wouldn't expect him to score. So he's the opposite of xG really.

It doesn't matter what any of us lot think. There are rumours that Steve Hitchen is pushing the Potter agenda on to Levy but he tends to have his own ideas. I've just got a horrible feeling that with the new stadium, he wants a big name. Its the wrong move but I just can't see DL swallowing his pride and going for the unfancied type. He's probably more appropriate than Rodgers really as he's got some average players playing some amazing football. We don't know how much of Rodgers success is down to a fortunate time during academy progress and very, very good recruitment. Potter is getting a tune out of a rusty instrument basically. Imagine what he could do with our squad.

Yeah but the reason for it was because he massively outperformed his xg last season. I think it rolls off the tongue better. But they are both good names.
