Held on to Wenger too long, because they were basically sacred of making a decision about who should replace him.
Eventually appointed Emery.
We got worse.
Sacked him, then waited a month to appoint Arteta.
Briefly steadied the ship.
Since then we’ve drifted (at best) before getting outsmarted by the failure that replaced Wenger.

Villarreal? More like Vile-real. 180+ minutes of conning the ref, their entire bench screaming like women at a Robbie Williams concert after every tackle we made and rolling around on the ground with every drama piece and all the theatrics in the book.
To go out to a skummy team like that hurts more than anything.
Usually I wouldn't want one of our former rivals to add more European silverware to their cabinet but this time I hope they absolutely batter Villarreal in the final.

Not sure what you are struggling to understand about that one? If it was a dive then there is no contact and VAR overturns it - that didn't happen though did it? Because it was the correct decision, one of the few the officials got right over the two legs.

Arsenal were lucky not to get booked for diving but instead awarded a penalty.

A truly miserable display by an awful team. Arsenal fans deserve better than this. Having watched the Chelsea performance against Real Madrid, and then seeing this bunch of lifeless talent(?), with a manager who could not get his team motivated to just score one goal, was sickening. Chelsea are light years ahead of the Gunners on and off the pitch!
Arsenal FC: Time to start your 5 year plan, and make sure you begin by getting rid of the non-performers and signing a manager who knows the value of winning.

After 180+ minutes of that type of theatre from the majority of their players, some genuinely dangerous challenges that nearly injured several of our own, the never-ending high pitched squeals after every dive they took and the never-failing whistle that followed shortly after - completely breaking up the flow of our play time and time again and despite being so poor over the majority of two legs that we really didn't deserve to reach the final - it leaves a really nasty itch you just can't scratch to go out to a team whom the majority of its players wouldn't be out of place on set in Hollywood.
After all the nonsense that has been written above though I'm now torn between whether it would be funnier to see Vile-real get destroyed or for Man Utd to lose after witnessing (and to some incalculable degree because of) the spectacular Clase De Artes Escénicas '21.
