I don't think this is a secret or any kind of breaking news. It's been reported multiple times by multiple outlets that this is the case.

I imagine that provided we're willing stump up the money, he'll come to to Old Trafford.
I'd imagine we have pretty much agreed everything already (except the fee) from last summer. So as long as we can actually agree on a fee this time everything else should be relatively simple?

I think so too. Very hard to see anyone spend a huge amount on Salah or Mane and if you were willing to why would you just not go for Sancho?
Honestly, I think I'd rather continue with Greenwood on the RW.
More options wouldn't hurt, but we have Martial, Rashford, Greenwood, when desperate even James for those roles.

All of those lads are a goal threat but none offer huge creativity out wide.
Martial and Greenwood will get plenty of games up top and James hasn’t shown enough to say he is good enough.
I’d probably concentrate on CB and DM 1st but if the money is there I’d be all for signing Sancho.
Hopefully we can get a decent fee for Lingard and can release Mata. Would be good to have a proper RW like Sancho to allow Greenwood to develop his game up top, as well as being a RW option.

Also seems that linking up with the likes of Greenwood, Rashford, Wan-Bissaka etc is appealing to him. I don't know the lad but what I've read leads me to lean towards him wanting to be part of that and a culture rather than just going to wherever the highest wages are. I'm sure I've seen or heard that he's pretty tight with a few United players from things like England under 21s etc.
I also think getting him over the line nice and early will be in our interest, I don't expect we'll spend purely to appease the fans but I think there's an element of "we need to get this window right if we're going to buy any amount of credit with them".
Sky saying we want this deal done before the Euros.
I’d be surprised if we did. We’re not great at doing things early in the window.

I think cavani really helps with this. Wouldn't surprise me if Greenwood played 30-40 games across the season and switched between the wing and up top as his development continues. Cavani won't play every game and it means we can rest Sancho more often than we do with Rashford now. Rashford, Greenwood and Sancho as a front 3 will be plenty for a good number of games.
Think people have bought too much into Sancho not having a good season, he had a slow start but his figures over 3 consecutive years now are just ridiculous. Think he's hit or exceeded 30 goals and assists for 3 years running now and he's 21, that's just mental. We can make room for him, I would be gutted if we passed on him and he went to Chelsea or Liverpool and smashed it for ten years. He's better on the right than anything we currently have, Mason isn't at that level yet.

We need a top class cb and defensive mid which all will cost over 80m, so if we can also afford sancho great but if we don’t buy a top cb and defensive mid it would be a bad window. Sancho isn’t going to do much more than Greenwood either
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is demonstrably incorrect.

Agree and having Sancho would ease the over reliance and burn out of Rashford also.
Cavani, Martial, Greenwood, Rashford and Sancho are potentially scary options to have with 4 of those still all potentially getting even better not to mention Bruno and Pogba if he stays.
Greenwood has been amazing for United, from the right.
We have just invested lots in Amad.
Our only real option at CF is 34 year old Cavani who can't play 2 games in a week.
Yeah, let's go and spend a fortune on a RW, only slightly better than Greenwood.

Isn't Sancho available on a free next summer?
I personally think there are areas which are a higher priority, if we can verbally agree with Jordan to wait one more season and give him a bumper sign-on fee...

We went back in for both Maguire and Bruno after failed attempts in the previous window/s so it wouldn't surprise me if we do again with Sancho.
Lingard n Mata will surely be leaving this summer as well as a few others. I'd be astonished if Donny sticks about as he's only going to be used as a sub again next year you'd think. He probably thinks he deserves to play somewhere else.
